Haiyou Hotel (Shanghai Bund Chenghuang Temple)

We chose a budget hotel in advance, a family room with one double bed and one single bed. The room had 2 beds, a bedside table, a table and a TV. And the pros: excellent hot water pressure around the clock, the air conditioner worked properly and quietly enough, the toilet was quite new, as if it had been recently replaced, the mattresses and pillows were comfortable, the bed linen was clean. Of the cons: the window was sealed with film in such a way that nothing could be seen through it, although there was not much to look at, the window looked out onto the canopy of the building where many air conditioner units were located and a lot of garbage was lying around, all the furniture is very old, the beds were knocked together as if from old boxes. In the bathroom, the bedside table on which the sink stood had dried out a lot and was crumbling onto the floor. Cleaning included throwing out the garbage and putting 3 bottles of water, when I caught the cleaning lady, I asked her to wash the floor, she did it. In general, for a super budget holiday and for unpretentious people, I recommend this hotel. 450 meters, the embankment is a 25-minute walk away.
