GGuest UserThis hotel is very good, with a great location, just 50 meters away from the entrance of the Shandan Military Horse Farm Scenic Area.
The conditions are pretty good.
Yes, the reception is far away from the city. The boss is very enthusiastic and nice. It was quite cold in the mornings and evenings these past two days, and I used the electric blanket in the room.
We arrived at the scenic spot around 5pm yesterday and went horseback riding first.

GGuest UserIt is very close to the scenic area gate and the horse riding spot, and you can walk there. Because it is a homestay and a grassland, you can't ask for too much in terms of facilities. The room has an electric blanket for heating, so it's not cold when sleeping, but it's a bit cold when staying. The electric water heater can be used for bathing. The room facing the backyard can see the grassland. The boss is enthusiastic and has his own restaurant. He cooks with local fresh wild mushrooms. In addition, the boss recommends a free hiking route with few people. It is worth a visit. There are mushrooms in the forest at the end that can be picked.

Rrtu3In fact, I didn't do a strategy to come to Shandan Military Horse Farm, because the high-speed rail arrived at Shandan Military Horse Farm. 18 kilometers away from the town, there is Shandan Military Horse Hotel, the charge is reasonable (and the scenic area has more than thousands of room charges), the key heating facilities are very intimate. People generally run to the mountain and don't know the temperature here. There are electric blankets on the bed, and there are electric heaters in the house. I want to give this hotel a big praise. In addition, thank Shandan Passenger Transport for providing reasonable special car service (to the town carpool, 10 yuan per person, 50 yuan to the station), thank the boss for answering all questions. There are many small shops in the town, and there are many Shandan love snacks next to the hotel, there are more choices, such as rice. In short, Shandan Army Racecourse is a neglected attraction, but it is worth a visit and a place that is beautiful like flowers.

GGuest UserArriving at the entrance of the scenic spot, we bought tickets and registered the license plate after calling the hotel, and drove directly to the scenic spot. Checking in at the hotel front desk, the handsome guy was very enthusiastic, telling us the time to watch the sunrise and the time for the horses to drink water and matters related to horse riding, and also gave us two bottles of honey and helped us carry our luggage. We lived on the second floor of the wooden house, which had a small balcony on the second floor, which was very convenient for viewing the scenery. The interior was a bit small, but it was generally OK to live in. There were disposable face towels and bath towels, and the water was very hot (it is recommended not to take a shower or wash your hair directly after riding a horse. The wind was strong and the temperature was low at night, and I caught a cold directly from the wind 😂), and rode a horse (before coming, I vowed to choose the longest line. Thanks to the dam repair line 4 and 5, I didn’t go, and finally chose line 3. AAnonymous User這個自駕營地的整體位置不錯，在馬場的旁邊。裏面的設施……還行，帳篷裏有暖氣片，有小衞生間（淋浴），提供的紙巾比較差，當然也是能理解吧，我跟孩子那天沒有洗澡，直接睡了。晚上的星空很美，營地裏有兩匹馬在吃草。早餐真的比較差，除了一人一個雞蛋，完全沒有肉，小孩子沒有什麼可吃的。而且早上温度低，飯廳沒有開暖氣。

Although limited by objective conditions, the bathing facilities in the town are relatively average, but it can be seen that they are run with care. The electric heater must be praised! Breakfast is also OK. The restaurant here can make roasted whole lamb, which tastes far better than the northwest lamb roasted whole lamb in Zhangye city! Also, the price of horse riding here is cheaper than that in Sihai~
