We spent a week there in august. I was very happy to be back in Crete as I love this island so much. Perfectly situated close to Rethymnon and Panormo, and there is bus stop just few meters away. The staff are always nice and smiling and ready to help you. The hotel is front beach, which is the main reason I booked it, just did't know we had to pay on the beach, and honestly didn't find this nice as we were customers of the hotel. The tavern down on the beach serves good food and the staff there are amazing. Big thank you to the Bulgarian boy - Milen. About the restaurant....Our big disappointment. Even though it is 3 stars hotel, the buffet at the restaurant needs a big improvement. The food for dinner is very tasty but lack of choice. Each 2 days almost the same , ice cream available only 2 days per week but when exactly?! For our stay of one week the ice cream was available only one Sunday, when I asked one of the waiter and the reception after, they told me 2 different stories... Not much variety for breakfast neither.

Excellent value for money. Hotel directly on the beach with swimming pool. Restaurant with typical and non-typical cuisine, you eat well and there is variety, you can eat both teeth and on the beautiful terrace watching the sunset. Very clean hotel, large rooms, the staff is very kind and helpful. I recommend it. Unfortunately we had the room facing the road so you could hear the noise of the highway that passes nearby. At the time of checkin if you have not booked the room with sea view, get one with a terrace on the inside.

This hotel is poorly maintained, it's dirty, the chairs are damaged, the swimming pool is not clean, the "private" beach cleaned in a hurry while emptying the rake... 10 meters further. They don't clean, they move it! As for the food, don't expect to enjoy it! In a self-service "canteen" type system, you always find the same thing in the stainless steel containers, and it's not really good! Breakfasts are just a bad time to get through... So, we left a day earlier than planned, very disappointed!

Direkt am Meer, wunderschöner Ausblick aufs Meer beim Essen (Frühstück, Abendessen), Frühstücksbuffet und Abendessenbuffet war für jeden was dabei-ich war zufrieden und immer satt. Die Mitarbeiter im gesamten Hotel waren sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles ist in der Nähe,kleiner Supermarkt in 4min. Die Busstation Richtung Rethymno ist ca 5min entfernt , Restaurants und Café auch. Mein Zimmern war sehr geräumig und der Blick vom Balkon aufs Meer traumhaft. Ich würde jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel Buchen

Hôtel sur une plage pas très bien entretenue. La vue est belle si vous réservez une chambre vue mer en supplément. La piscine ne sert à rien car aucun transat autour. La nourriture manque de goût et de variété. Je déconseille de prendre la demi pension. Le mobilier est vieillissant et les lits sont durs et inconfortables . Bref, cela pourrait être un bel endroit si cet établissement était amélioré et mieux géré.

Ziemlich abgeschieden liegt das Hotel in einem wenig ansehnlichen Vorort von Rethymon, 450m (nicht 200) von der Bushaltestelle entfernt, mit der man die Touristenhochburg für 1,60 Euro erreichen kann. 200m entfernt liegt ein Supermarkt und das war es auch fast schon. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand, sodass die Gäste kurze Wege vom Hotelzimmer zum kleinen Pool ohne Liegen und zum Strand haben. Das wirkliche Highlight des Hotels ist die schöne Terasse mit Blick aufs Meer, auf der alternativ zum Speisesaal die Mahlzeiten eingenommen werden können. Die Zimmer werden gründlich geputzt und das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Und jetzt kommen leider die Mängel: es gibt Null Animation bzw. Unterhaltung, auch nicht abends, dafür stattliche Getränkepreise. Es gibt einen Billiardtisch in einem Kellerraum, der gleichzeitig als Abstellraum dient - natürlich ohne Kreide, warum auch und im Innenhof kann Tischtennis gespielt werden mit Schlägern, die nur noch Holzplatten sind. Über all dies könnte man hinwegsehen, wenn man nur essen, schwimmen und schlafen will. Leider ist die Küche und der Service aber nicht nur beim Auffüllen und Abräumen überfordert, sondern auch beim Kontrollieren der Speisen auf Essbarkeit. Es gab mehrere Tage fermentiertes Dosenobst und Fleisch- und Fischspeisen zwischen halbroh und völlig übergart. Über flüssigen Wackelpudding und knallharte 4-Minuten-Eier kann ich schmunzeln, bei vergorenem Obst und rohen Frikadellen hört der Spaß auf.

Apart from the differences of opinion on this hotel in relation to everyone's criteria, do you find it normal that the waiters tell you that you must even report to reception that there is no more tea at breakfast or then you send to buy ice cube bags for your fridge. Repetitive breakfast and dinner, little variety, a toaster would not be a luxury. Our room did not have the standard of the photos shown. Dated shower 80x80 with plastic curtain, 2 power outlets available for 2 rooms, towels change every 2 days, We arrived around 10:00 p.m. and the receptionist sent us to our reservation which was not in the same complex, 200m away by getting back on the road and without even accompanying us, he didn't have time. The wifi works very poorly and the beach is good, deckchairs for a fee, the hotel paths are well flowered and the 2 swimming pools are very clean but not busy at all! Nous sommes arrivés dans cet hôtel , un monsieur bien gentil et agréable nous a accueillit( c’est le seul point positif) , on nous a placé dans une chambre au sous sol , en dessous du niveau de la route, on avait l’impression d’être dans une cave , le bruit des voitures et camions raisonnait dans la chambre ( pas du tout reposant ) , nous avions pris la demi pension , très grosse erreur : très déçu par le petit déjeuner et dîner, la nourriture était infecte , et je ne vous parlé pas de l’hygiène : des mouches tournaient autour des plats et la vaisselle était encore sale ( les assiettes et verres n’étaient pas propre du tout) les cuisiniers sortaient pour se servir au buffet avec des vêtements crasseux , donc on a finit par manger à l’extérieur tellement c’était absolument dégoûtant , heureusement qu’on avait pris que 4 nuits ,donc fuyez!!!
