Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island

This hotel is the best in the Seychelles for service and meal. Our family and me were delighted with our Holliday. We had barbecue at villa, some special service for our family and our friends. And I hope we will definitely return to this place again.

It was an amazing trip and we had great time. The team was very helpful and accommodating needs from simple to complex. Mr. Ilias, Ms Roberta and Mr. Momo inputs made us had a very nice trip and enjoy our time. From accommodation and dinning to activities and excursions, it was fabulous

Every single aspect of our stay - the villa, the responsiveness of the staff, the quality of service, the food, the activities - were of the highest standard. Our special thanks to Yogi, who was our personal concierge. She was always there for us and made our stay truly special. Hotel, villa, service, breakfast was excellent. The food at the Mòlin restaurant was very good. Food at the other restaurants were good. Everyone of the employees were all so serviceminded and very nice and friendly. This holiday fullfilled our expectasions. Our consierge Angelle was very nice and helpfull.

I have travelled many places in the world for work and pleasure and as much as this trip was pleasure it has to be by far one of the most memorable experiences. From landing on Platte Island the welcome was very thoughtful and makes a huge first impression. The villas are simply stunning. Each detailed for the most relaxing stay. Each member of staff extremely welcoming and friendly. Simply cannot do enough for your every need. Not forgetting Dennis who made my coffee to perfection everyday at the coffee bar. The food outstanding at each restaurant, I travelled with a 7 year old and at times this became challenging when it came to meal times. They catered for exactly what my son would eat which made mine and my husbands life much more pleasurable. From the executive chef to all of them thank you for the wonderful menus and foods we tried. This brings me on to the entertainment. This was beyond what I expected. My son is a very active boy and often at this age I do not get much relaxing done on holidays but this holiday was much different. The children’s entertainment team actively sought to give my son attention which allowed me in turn to relax when first arriving, from pool games, to showing my son around the amazing kids club, to playing football with him, my son is football mad. My son honestly wanted for nothing in terms of stimulating him, from play, to more relaxing activities I even painted a coconut I have not sat down and done that myself since a young child 😂 and movie under the stars such a lovely evening after having dinner it made for some really nice family time. Now my entertainment the lalin bar is exceptional. The staff when I was undecided could not do enough for me and the dj was a nice touch. Set the mood to watch the sunset 😍 I found everything about Platte Island memorable, it felt daily like we had come to paradise in the middle of the Indian Ocean. It really is nature at its best and truly an exceptional place.

We had a wonderful holiday at this island！This island is really beautiful and we have a lot of experience. Especially our personal assistant Yogi is very considerate and helpful. We are very lucky to see sea turtles laying eggs on the island and humpback whale mother and son when we go out to sea! I'm pretty sure we'll bring the kids back and come back to this beautiful island.

I was excited to try out this brand new resort on Seychelles' closest outer island and also its farthest island to the east. My experience definitely did not disappoint. Flights to Platte are on an IDC (Island Development Corporation) aircraft. The Waldorf is building its own lounge but you can use the one IDC has at the airport. We arrived to a brand new 2-bedroom villa, which was spacious and beautiful. Either wing of the villa is anchored by a bedroom which can be made private by the clever use of sliding doors. The bathrooms are spacious and lovely with A+++ toiletries. Service at the Waldorf-Astoria Platte Island is incredible. You have a 24-hour concierge you can message through WhatsApp at any time. they coordinate breakfast, pickups in a buggy (you're also provided your own bike which you can use to roam the entire island at-will), room service and appointments at the various restaurants. Angel, our concierge, was superb. Always two steps ahead of every one of our needs. Food is excellent, wherever you have it. I will say there were times things took longer than expected but the property is new so I expect they're still working out some of the kinks. We were also given food that took too long gratis, so there's really no reason to complain. The beaches are lovely and change daily with the tides. At times you can walk out .5 of a mile to get to deeper water, at other times you simply step off the sand and go for a swim. Either way you're always stunned by the beauty that surrounds you. I loved my time here and will definitely return. I also want to give props to the property for going above and beyond in returning to me a cufflink case I left in my villa. They sent it back to Mahé and had it delivered to my hotel there in time for a formal event I was attending with the President of Seychelles, which is absolutely amazing customer service

We had the chance to stay two weeks in the Waldorf Astoria on this lovely piece of paradise, Platte Island. The Resort itself with its sophisticated infrastructure and all its beautiful amenities ( SPA, excellent gym, tennis and paddle tennis court) to make our stay the greatest ever was impressive to us. The Waldorf Astoria team was always lovely, warm hearted and welcomed us every day with a smile. The efforts of the team, the high attitude of professionalism was the top of an incredible stay on this island embedded in natur above (seldom birds and tortoise) and under water ( masses of sea turtles, rays and harmless reef sharks) . In summary an outstanding hotel with an outstanding team on an outstanding piece of paradise!
