I had a wonderful stay at Mango House! From the moment I arrived to the time I checked out, the entire experience was seamless and enjoyable, thanks to the exceptional hospitality of the team. Everyone went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Special thanks to Chef, Madam Henar, Mariam, and the entire F&B team for their warmth and incredible service. The care they put into every detail truly made a difference, and I felt so welcomed. Looking forward to returning and experiencing the fantastic hospitality at Mango House again!

This intimate property offers stunning ocean views with captivating wildlife, including birds, spiders, and crabs that add a unique charm to the experience. During the day, you may spot bats flying near the more secluded pool, where they peacefully make their home in a nearby tree. I booked this stay over 40 days in advance after attempting to reserve a room at their sister property, which was unfortunately sold out. While some reviews from top-tier Hilton members expressed disappointment, I remained optimistic. As the trip approached, I emailed the property with some questions. It took nearly two weeks to get a response, which was frustrating, and I almost canceled. However, they eventually replied with the details I needed, and I decided to keep my reservation. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with refreshing towels and a drink, a thoughtful touch. Ahkmed escorted us to our room, which was waiting with a delightful welcome of macarons and dried coconut. Surprisingly, the bed was decorated for a honeymoon with animal-shaped towels—a charming but unexpected touch. The room was spacious, secluded enough for privacy yet conveniently located near one of the pools and the beach. Ahkmed also gave us a thorough tour of the property and shared some helpful tips for exploring Seychelles. The resort itself is breathtaking, offering an exclusive and relaxing atmosphere. Both the pools and the beach are never overcrowded, and fresh towels are always available. The food, while on the pricier side, is delicious, with breakfast included (though the options are limited and repeat daily). Emma and Lisa stood out for their excellent customer service, and the drinks are strong and worth the price. Stephane, the bartender at Solely, is friendly and skilled, and Sedrick at the Kokoye bar makes a unique special that’s worth trying. Overall, I would happily return and recommend a stay here at least once—it’s an unforgettable experience.

I am sitting in my beautiful room looking at the most beautiful view, reading a review from someone called Michael and hoping that I never meet him. This place is luxurious, laid-back and splendid. I arrived at 9.00am, was given a drink and was by one of three stunning pools by 10.00am. The staff could not be more willing to please and i am having a wonderful holiday.

As a professional traveler, spending over 250 days a year exploring the globe, I’ve stayed in my fair share of 5-star hotels. But let me tell you, Hotel Mango on the Seychelles takes the cake for being the absolute worst of the bunch. If there’s a handbook on how to ruin a vacation, this place is using it as a manual. First off, the staff. I swear, they must have a competition for who can look the most miserable. It’s like they’re auditioning for a role in “Grumpy Staff: The Movie.” Every request is met with an eye-roll so powerful, it could start a hurricane. Need a towel? Expect to wait an hour (and that’s if you’re lucky). Ask for a drink? Prepare yourself—by the time it arrives, you might have aged a decade. Now, let’s talk beaches. You’d think on the Seychelles they’d be stunning, right? Think again. The beach here looks like a scene from a “before” picture in a trash cleanup ad. No sunbeds in sight, so you’re either lying in the sand like a castaway or wrestling with a palm tree for a spot of shade. And don’t get me started on the food. The culinary team must be going for some kind of “worst meal ever” award. It’s a mix of cold, tasteless, and just plain sad. Even if you muster up the courage to order, you’ll wait so long that you’ll begin to wonder if they’ve had to sail to another island for the ingredients. And the cherry on top? Nothing in this hotel works. Wi-Fi? Might as well send a carrier pigeon. Even the elevators have an attitude. It’s almost impressive how many ways this place can disappoint. In short, if you’re looking for a 5-star disaster, Hotel Mango is your place. But if you actually want to enjoy your stay in paradise, my advice? Run—don’t walk—in the opposite direction.

Mango House is an exclusive Boutique hotel located in South of Mahe, with an exclusive location, offering different outlets restaurants in such a small Boutique hotel to ensure offering different culinary experiences to their guests all throughout their stay. A very dedicated team to their guests to ensure all their respective expectations are fulfilled. Very casual chic tropical ambiance and comfort up to a luxury Boutique hotel . French poet Baudelaire wrote " L' Invitation au Voyage" and Mango House is definitely in line with it : " La tout n'est qu'Ordre et Beaute, Luxe, Calme et Volupte ", this is the lifetime moment that you will experience by staying at Mango House.

Fantastic hotel, amazing food, superb accommodation all making for a lovely stay. We stayed our last three nights here having been in la Digue and Praslin. I think much more time in this hotel and you feel isolated. We took the shuttle to the other Hilton but swiftly returned. The sushi restaurant was great, the room well appointed and the snorkeling at the beach some of the best we’d done.

Remote location. Access by one road which is winding & can be very slow. Little nearby to see/do. Taxis are expensive. Sushi restaurant disappointing. Large construction site directly next door. Three rooms smelled mouldy. Rocky beach.
