Abode Well Cabins

Could not have had any better stay to start a first visit ever to Alaska! Stayed in a Lodge Room and it was great! Most comfortable bed I’ve stayed in any lodging in my life. Simple yet very nice room. King bed, microwave, mini fridge, and full bathroom with great water pressure. Conveniently and quietly located just outside of Seward. Saw a moose cow and her calf just before we pulled up to our room. Rooms are very well insulated between each other so it adds a lot of sound proofing from your neighbors. Cannot get better lodging near Exit Glacier, just turn right instead heading to town and enjoy the amazing views. All of my contact with the owners was through text and email from reservation to check out. Checking in was given the door code in email/text. The rooms are so well kept that there will probably be no reason need to contact them. But they will be more than helpful with any questions or concerns you may have. Will definitely be staying here when we visit again.

This is a basic cabin with king-size bed. Hot water was instant and it had a tub which was perfect for soaking my sore body after an Exit Glacier hike. It has a small microwave and a dorm fridge (no freezer portion), along with a coffee maker, and paper/plastic paperwork. Water from the tap is super cold and delicious! Danny is very responsive.
