We booked for three nights at La Casa del Maestro. Really enjoyed our stay. A special mention to Enriqueta Rosa who gave us such a great welcome when we arrived. The hotel is in a beautiful old house located near to the Metropol Parasol ('the mushrooms'). We had a lovely room with It was spotlessly clean - a very comfortable bed - very quiet (overlooking an internal patio) and air conditioning. Being an old house there is no lift. There was a great breakfast although there were not enough tables for all the guests so sometimes people had to wait for a table to become free. We had a really fab dinner at Braxas - very close to hotel on Calle Almirante Apodaca. Our favourite place that we visited was Palacio de las Duenas (family home of the Duke of Alba) which is close to the hotel. We loved walking around the Parque Maria Louisa.

La 2 est magnifique et spacieuse avec sa petite terrasse
Le personnel est accueillant
Le lieu est très beau et mis en valeur dans une petite rue calme non loin à pied de tous les lieux à visiter
Le petit déjeuner est copieux et d excellente qualité

Super hyggeligt hotel med dejlig spansk atmosfære. Modtagelsen af receptionisten var rigtig god. Morgenmaden var lokal præget, og smagte fantastisk.

Super séjour de 6 nuits dans ce petit hôtel où tout était parfait. Nous avions une chambre au rdc donnant sur un petit patio donc très au calme. Propreté de la chambre impeccable avec machine expresso et bouilloire avec petits sachets de thé réapprovisionnés, ce qui est assez rare. Salle de bain bleue, rappelant les mosaîques. Petit déjeuner copieux avec le jus frais d'oranges, personnel aux petit soins et d'une grande gentillesse. Nous avons étés amenés à partir très tôt pour les excursions ; un pique-nique nous a été préparé. A l'accueil possibilité de réserver une visite et bons conseils avec documents touristiques. Bref, n'hésitez pas à séjourner dans cet hôtel, j'ai oublié de signaler qu'il est très bien placé près de la place Afalfa et de Santa Cruz , on peut tout faire à pieds.

Välskött och mysigt hotell med personlig service. Vi uppskattade den lugna frukostmatsalen som serverade en utmärkt liten frukost. Det enda som var negativt var att vårt rum helt saknade utsikt, men å andra sidan var det relativt tyst. Notera att hotellet saknar hiss, och att trappan är ganska brant. Vi återkommer dock mer än gärna. Tack för en fin vistelse!

What distinguishes this hotel is the very high standard of its customer service. Everything is well explained at the time of checkin (sorry I forgot the lady’s name, her English is excellent!) and the reception are always happy to help with any requests. They even packed a picnic breakfast for me when I had to leave early to catch a train. And right on the stroke of the time I requested, the taxi they ordered for me arrived! The room is spacious and adequate for one person. The aircon works well too. Breakfast is sort of continental style plus scrambled eggs, not a buffet but served at the table. The lady who did the cooking unfortunately doesnt speak English so she could not accommodate my request for fried eggs or omelette in lieu. Despite this, the breakfast is adequate and tasty. Highly recommended.

Very unique fun property with great friendly staff.
Breakfast was WONDERFUL!!!
There is no elevator but I'm older and it wasn't a problem.
Terrace rooftop was perfect for drinking wine after a long day of walking and touring this beautiful city.
