The Inn at Apple Valley, Ascend Hotel Collection

This is one of the best and friendliest motels in pigeon forge I have ever stayed at! Highly highly recommend! Very clean. Pools were super nice. Fire pit was beautiful! It was in a great location not far from the main *****.

Nice room and location. We were able to get a river view room on the 2nd floor. It also overlooks Parkway, and the Titanic Museum, Hatfield V McCoy, Wonderworks, and Beyond the Lens could be seen not far away. It's a little bit noisy there starting in the morning but we didn't notice any noise during sleep time. The indoor pool was the only one open. It's not really big but it's nice. Breakfast was a hot, buffet-style hotel meal. Waffle maker, scrambled eggs and/or bacon, coffee, hot chocolate, french vanilla hot chocolate (not chocolate of course), various pastries, cereal, OJ, yogurt (with nuts and granola available). What I ate of that was good. We stayed 3 nights during our Spring Break. The area was extremely busy all the time. Pigeon Forge provides convenient access to Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

This is an older property with some upgrades. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the pool. We had a queen size bed and a pullout sofa bed. My daughter found the sofabed uncomfortable so the second night she slept on top of the cushions. The king size bed was fine. The layout of the room was strange. Next to the bed was a jacuzzi, with grab bars on two of the walls. There was minimal room between the bed and tub. The shower stall was perhaps 18” wide unusually small. The door to the bathroom was narrower than most doors and I had a difficult time getting into, it with my walking aid. The air conditioner was old and very noisy making it difficult to stay asleep. The room was clean. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast.

A friend and I stayed three nights as a spur of the moment decision after leaving a so called four star resort that was a bust. We checked in to a third floor, two queen bed w/ sleeper sofa suite overlooking the street, pool and fire pit. The Inn at Apple Valley was very clean and the staff was professional and friendly - a rarity these days. They replenished supplies and straightened the room daily. Amenities included an indoor pool, indoor pool side hot tub (fizzy not hard jets), and an outdoor pool. There is also a fire pit, a nice outside patio and each room has a balcony. The breakfast was fabulous with a variety of items including eggs, meat, fruit, pancakes, waffles and fruit. There was something for every eating style. Additionally the breakfast was well attended by the staff and replenished frequently minimizing worries about food quality. All of the expected and advertised amenities were available (and in good working order) in the room. It was the first time in ages that I've not had to hunt down necessary supplies or asked for a repair! The location was a perfect central base to visit the various parts of Sevierville, Gatlinberg and Pigeon Forge. If you haven't been to the area in a few years, there have been some improvements to the traffic situation though I highly recommend middle of the week visits and not peak summer, week end, holiday times. Improvements over the last 10+ years include a peripheral connecter road, buses and trolleys to relive congestion. We ended up staying an extra day just because :) The Inn smells like apples everywhere. One thing is for certain, you will never forget you've been at the Inn at Apple Valley.

Our favorite in Sevierville area We spent one night at the Apple Inn and then transferred to another hotel the next night thinking it was closer to where we needed to be. Being tourists and not knowing the area we never should have left! The other hotel was brand new and while it was nice (and more expensive) it wasn’t nearly as clean and even breakfast wasn’t included. We decided to add on an extra day in town and went directly to the Apple Inn where the hospitality and homey feel has made us customers for life. The bed was so, so comfortable and the giant jacuzzi tub in the room we got the second night was the perfect end to a beautiful day in the Great Smokey Mountains where I saw 9 black bears including a little bitty baby. We can’t wait to visit again!! Make sure to bring your swimsuits for the hot tub and pool (we forgot 😢). Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will be back!!

The firepit area is a nice area to sit. Great experience with checking in.
