Club Wyndham Great Smokies Lodge

As a Wyndham timeshare owner for 10 yrs maybe I am expecting too much but when you give me the worst dated unit in the resort it makes me compelled to write this review. We were aware they were replacing the roof but when I asked if water park was still accessible they said yes. Only the indoor water park was. They gave us free passes to Soaky Mountains across the street for the inconvenience. My family fortunately had a nicer condo than ours but overall this place is not maintained as it should be for what I pay every year in maintenance fees.And the front desk did honor my request to give us units in the same building but cut me off when I was going to ask for a view. As you will see our views are of parking lot, Highway and spider webs. The lawn also needs maintenance. Bathroom is horrible. Shower door rattles when you open it and shower pan old so won’t come clean. This place is mid century and not in a good way. It’s also not really a convenient location to area attractions.its at least 30 mins away from everything. Too many other places to stay which is why I think it’s time to get rid of my timeshare and use that money elsewhere.Wyndham properties have really gone down over the years. I’m over it!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Club Wyndham Great Smokies Lodge. The staff was so accommodating and helpful to young travelers like ourselves. We stayed in a suite with 2 beds and 2 baths and it was WONDERFUL! Everything was clean and worked great! We will definitely be back!

Clean and Friendly activities for families , close to national park. Unit has everything you need like home away from home.

Our room was not clean upon arrival. it had hair in the tub, toothpaste smears on the faucet. The jacuzzi tub had scum coming out of the jets. The hot water tank was too small to keep the water hot so I froze when I bathed. There was torn furniture, large cracks in the ceiling not patched correctly. There was mold around the shower and a crack on the shower floor it pinched my husband's foot while showering. The sinks had to be unclogged they wouldn't drain. The toilet made horrible loud noises. The best thing was the activities indoor waterpark; however one was closed while we were there.

Awful Awful Awful! Absolutely TERRIBLE experience. Ruined our entire weekend.
