Hotel Villa Rosa

The hotel is small, few services, no parking, lunch/dinner with a single daily menu but... the rooms are spotless, the staff super helpful, the food good and well prepared, if you don't like something they are available to change the menu on customer instructions. So what are you looking for? If you need a hotel with many services and many choices of food then it is not for you but if you are looking for accommodation where you have good food, a clean room and bathroom like at home and trustworthy people then Villa Rosa is made for you. It is an unpretentious hotel but what it offers is done in the best possible way, it is located in a strategic point at a fair distance from the centre, the beaches, the car parks, the train station and even close to the post office, cinema, the best bakery with focaccias amazing (golden ear), pharmacy, greengrocer etc etc. The price is another strong point… unbeatable! The rooms are small but have been partly renovated by modernizing the furnishings a little through a restyling of some old furnishings and by inserting new ones that were however well designed as we found, despite the size, more space for our objects compared to other hotels which despite We had more square meters and were forced to leave our things in our suitcases due to the lack of suitable spaces. The bathroom is very clean, new showers and not a trace of limescale on the taps or on the shower cubicle. Quality soft cotton terry towels. In short, at first glance the hotel gives the impression of being the classic pension for the elderly but then looking carefully at everything... well... everything you need is there and of good quality... everything is clean, you eat well and the area is excellent... and in 10 days of stay it is true that there were many elderly people but then there was a certain change which significantly lowered the average age of the customers. The breakfast is very varied with croissants and cakes, Genoese focaccia, a small savory portion, fruit, juices, yogurt, jams etc.. not a huge buffet but well complete and proportionate to the number of rooms. Coffee shop made on the spot like a bar without machines. However, I want to give one piece of advice to hoteliers: when a customer is hesitant about the menu and asks you for something alternative to the first courses, every now and then recommend something more original in addition to pasta with pesto, pasta with meat sauce and pasta with tomato sauce. It's true that if the customer suggests you are always available to please him but sometimes the customer doesn't want to suggest anything else so as not to create problems in the kitchen. Same thing on the menu, we noticed that there are days when the chef indulges himself with elaborate and well-studied fish dishes, on other occasions he arrives with simple pasta with tomato sauce and cutlet. These are also very good, nothing to say about quality and goodness, but seeing the other dishes we know that he can do much more and those who are on holiday well... if they can avoid the dishes they also make at home it's better! Perhaps the ideal thing would be to already propose two choices
