We camped and self catered. Firstly the camping areas need some screening. The sand blows everywhere and the wind can get a bit strong. The wifi is only available at the "reception" area and that closes early evening so be prepared to talk to each other. There is a pool but basically just a plunge pool, with no shelter from the wind you are covered in sand by the time you get back to your tent. This was the only place we had to peg our tent down.

Nous avions l'emplacement numéro 1 et c'était parfait. Nous avions notre propre maisonnette avec salle de bain et toilettes privatives ainsi qu'une prise de courant le tout était propre. Pour ceux qui voudraient se baigner, la piscine n'est pas trop entretenue et l'eau n'est pas très propre. L'emplacement est idéal à quelques minutes de l'entrée du parc. Nous avons même eu la visite de quelques springboks durant la nuit. Nous avons dîner au restaurant du SOSSUSVLEI LODGE qui est à 10 minutes à pied du camping et leur buffet est absolument fabuleux, mais il faut impérativement réserver quelques jours avant.

A very well equipped campsite right next to the entrance of the National Park of Deadvlei/Sossusvlei. The campsites have access to a pool, private bathroom/toilet at every campsite with hot/cold water, 2 electricity plugs and a grill. The campsite has a fuel station and a little conveniance store. Wifi is also available at the shop for free if you are staying there.

The camp offers two levels of camping, rustic and with amenities. Our area offered an outdoor covered kitchen for cooking and meals with a grill. The area contained a clean toilet and hot showers. The camp store offers a variety of camp staples, snacks, wine, beer, and something you might have forgotten. An outdoor covered area allows customers to enjoy a meal, beverage, or snack. WiFi vouchers are free and last about one hour. Service available only at camp store Friendly staff esp Rejoice and Fabian

Nous y sommes restés deux jours en camping. Les emplacement sont correct, à quelques centaines de mètres de l'entrée du parc de Sossusvlei. On ne parle pas de la piscine, sauf si on veut vivre une aventure sanitaire. Pour le reste, les sanitaires sont corrects, comme les emplacement. Vue imprenable sur le couché de soleil et le levé sur le désert. Vous pourrez y voir quelques orix, ou chacal à proximité (à moins que vous visitiez aussi les réserves..).

It's great place to camping just outside the Park entrance. It has shower and toilet facility and even warm water in the desert area. Worth the price.

Le pire campsite de mon trip. A 5 mn de l'entrée du NP. Meme propriétaire que la station d'essence située sur le site. Emplacement au bord d'une piste tres fréquentée générant du bruit et de la poussière. Un générateur électrique occasionne un bruit peu supportable toute la nuit. Sdb individuelle recouverte de fiente de corbeaux. L'espace piscine n'est plus entretenu, eau sale, mobilier de récupération recouvert de fiente. Wifi disponible 1h...puis indisponible le 2eme jour car les petits codes d'accès sont édités en nombre insuffisant. Patron fort antipathique. Epicerie de la station service bien achalandée, seule point positif !
