What an amazing experience to stay at the castle for 7 days as a base for our tour of Tuscany hosted by Salvatore. The hospitality, food, and knowledge shared was incredible. Waking up to church bells each morning opening the window and looking over this hamlet was magical. Breakfast each morning was a great start for each daily adventure. The evenings we had dinner prepared and served by Antonio and Kaci were superb. This was our best vacation EVER! We plan to return.

Salvatore, Antonio, and Kaci were awesome hosts in the picturesque Castello Delle Serre! Salvatore has transformed the Castello into a wonderful venue that is not to be missed. The food and stories that were shared have given us memories that we can never forget. We highly recommend you chimes and stay at this great site!! This is the place to go to and do the organized week-long tour with Salvatore, his son Antionio and daughter-in-law Kaci. Superb organization of the week-long tour and excellent stay at the castle. We stayed in the tower suite with our own private terrace overlooking the area. Magnificent views. We had a few dinners at the castle, excellent food and of course plenty of wine. Breakfast every morning with our group of 20 people. We did not know any of them and now we are all friends (and Facebook Friends). Sharing recipes and photographs. We did some excellent wine tasting, Montioni, De'Ricci, Tenuta di Arceno to name a few. Shipped quite a few case back home again. Received the last batch yesterday. Definitely recommended. I took a little over 2,100 photographs that week alone.

The Castello Delle Serre is a truly wonderful restored Castle in Tuscany. Beautifully renovated providing an authentic Tuscan experience. Antonio, Kaci and Salvatore were exceptional hosts helping us feel very welcome with their knowledge of the region being remarkable. I particularly enjoyed their openness and honesty in the recounting the rebuild of this magnificent Castle. I truly recommend a visit to the Castle and this beautiful region of Italy.

We went with a large group from around the world (not all knew each other) who were each individually treated with so much personal attention and care that made us all feel like family. The Gangale family and staff were top notch! Sal and Antonio were guides extraordinaire with a thorough knowledge of Italian history, geography entertained with USA and world events and storytelling abilities to rivet, engage and impress us continually. The hospitality, food, grounds, rooms and extras were superlative - and the weather was perfect. Enjoyed meeting Kayci and the kids along with Rozina - all part of the family to make this experience a 10+!

If we planned a trip and designed the best place to stay (the room was super, the food outstanding and the wine choices second to none) and chose the perfect hosts, we did it with Castello delle Serre. Our hosts, Kaci and Antonio, could not have been more accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. My wife and I have traveled to many places, but this was the best vacation we have ever done. You can't go wrong.

WOW, what a week of fabulous tours in Tuscany and an amazing stay in a renovated , family run castle that dates back to the 800’s. Nothing was spared in the renovations of Castello Delle Serra. Five star visit all around. Each day we toured different quaint towns in the Tuscany region with the guide of the castle owner! What a wealth of knowledge he is in all areas of Italy, the history, art, wine, olive oils, food! His great personality made it all so enjoyable to learn. His son, daughter in law and sister all step in the help with the running of the castle, the amazingly delicious meals and the warm and welcoming hospitality! All 25 of us felt like family sharing their beautiful castle home! Highly recommend a stay at Castello Delle Serra!

This was the best stay of anywhere we have traveled. We were a small group on a wine tasting tour of the local area. Antonio and Kaci set up our tours of wineries and accompanied us. Along the way they shared the history of the area with some great stories. Antonio also gave us a tour of the castle and the story of its history and its renovation. The castle and its rooms were amazing. All the food was delicious. We were connected with people and wineries that they knew, so we were treated more like friends than visitors. We were taken care of so well and were so comfortable that we can't wait to come back. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

We went with a small tour group arranged by V.Sattui Winery for a wine tour of Tuscany. Salvatore (the owner) was our tour guide and took us for daily excusions into various villages in Tuscany. Everything about the trip FAR exceeded expectations. The castle is the perfect blend of the old (history) and the new (comfort). Salvatore runs the castle along with his son and daughter in law, and when you go, you literally feel like a family guest, not a paying customer, while you are there. It is an experience, and a very pleasant one that makes you want to come back over and over. These people LOVE what they do, and it shows in every moment of your stay. You will be hooked from the moment you walk through the door. Be sure to visit the pool area at night - it is gorgeous. And make sure to mingle with the other guests - this place draws some wonderful people.
