Bahía Suites Camp de Mar

We discovered BAHIA at the end of October. We were immediately welcomed, they spoke French, we were taken to our room which was a nice surprise, with a sea view and swimming pool, beautiful layout including a kitchenette. We took half board; everything was perfect, breakfast and dinner, attentive and always smiling staff. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE were the stairs that you have to go down and up with your suitcases... despite that it's 10/10

The hotel itself is great. The staff is also very friendly. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The complex is well maintained. The view is magnificent. But our stay was not pleasant for a number of reasons. 1. Extremely noisy construction sites opposite the hotel. With compressed air excavators, etc. - from 8:00 in the morning until the evening. No information before arrival, no information on arrival or during the holiday, and no apology or willingness to compromise. Complete ignorance. When asked about any kind of willingness to compromise, the answer was: NO! Nothing, not even a drink on the house. 2. Constant seasonal finishing work such as drilling, hammering and screwing during the day in the hotel by employees/craftsmen. Rooms had already been completely cleared, which led to a lot of noise. Loud employees in the pool area, which meant noise in all the rooms. There was never any peace and quiet, except at night. 3. Outside pool closed. No information. When we asked, we were told that the inside pool was there. No alternative for us when the weather was beautiful. 4. Dirty bathroom on arrival. After "wiping" the floor with paper, there was dirt and countless hairs from previous guests in the towel. Hair was everywhere. We left early, disappointed, and cannot understand such service to guests. Especially as the night cost €250 including breakfast. An outrage under the circumstances. By the way, we were far from the only dissatisfied guests. We wish future guests a nicer and more relaxing holiday.
