Our group was blown away by the Serengeti Sametu Camp. The property is beautiful and the lodging was spacious, comfortable, and welcoming. We woke up to the sounds of nature and even saw a family of giraffe right from our porch! What makes this property extra special, though, are the people. We were met with smiles, songs and kind words at every turn. In just three days, I made lasting connections with many of the staff that I hope will last for years until I am able to visit again. Cheers to Omari and Johnson for always going above and beyond for our group and providing the best service in the Serengeti! The shuttle to our room made moving around the camp so easy and safe. The food was wonderful! And the pool!! So refreshing after a long day in a jeep. Thank you Sametu for an unforgettable experience in Tanzania. I will never forget you!

Such a beautiful place and so welcoming. John, my server, was the best. So cheerful and accommodating! The camp rooms were spotless and comfortable, especially after long day doing game drives. If there is any recommendations it would be to get ceiling fans although once the evening came the temperature in the room was comfortable. They did give me a standing fan

We had a great 3 night stay and can’t be more grateful for the staff’s hospitality and friendliness. The room was very spacious with super comfortable bedding, the bathroom was very clean and well appointed. Sitting on the porch in the afternoon and looking at elephants and giraffes at a distance was an unexpected surprise. Our meal server David was very helpful and attentive to our requests. What an amazing place to stay in the Serengeti. Off the beaten path / away the crazy that is the central Serengeti, the service and amenities at Sametu are premier. We had the most amazing attendant, Ramadhan, who went above and beyond every minute we’re there and really made the stay special. The rooms are well appointed, almost magical, and you’d forget you were in the Tanzania wilderness if but for the beautiful views of the Serengeti - from bed! With the high quality service, the delicious food, and the beautiful surroundings - you really can’t go wrong at staying at Sametu. (One piece of advice - the hot water is solar heated, so I would advise showering in the late afternoon ;-))

We fully enjoyed our stay at Sametu Camp.They welcomed us, gave a great orientation, and showed us around. The accommodations were excellent, the food was as well and the service was delightful, the view of the Serengeti is spectacular with giraffes, water bucks, and elephants greeting us out back. It was a lovely experience!

The staff were super efficient, knowledgeable and kind ., one of the best services we gave ever received. David our server at meal tines, gave us the best service and recommendation that we could’ve asked he waited on us patiently and was very helpful in giving us guidance and information

Zeer vriendelijk welkom en personeel. Niets is teveel. De kamers zijn prachtig met een fantastisch uitzicht op de Serengeti. De olifanten aan je terras krijg je er gratis bij. Omdat de huisjes zo ver uit elkaar staan, mag je bij schemering niet meer te voet naar het hoofdgebouw, wegens die olifanten. Ze sturen dan een wagentje.
