The fitness center deserves special mention. Overlooking the breathtaking savannah, it is equipped with state-of-the-art Technogym machines and provides an inspiring setting for staying active—even in the middle of the wilderness. Working out while gazing at the endless horizon made exercise feel like part of the adventure itself. The unsung heroes of the property are undoubtedly the housekeeping team. Their impeccable attention to detail, efficiency, and care were constants throughout our stay. Every time we returned to our room, it felt like stepping into a sanctuary—tidy, serene, and always prepared with thoughtful touches. We were three days in this beautiful hotel. The hotel is located directly in Serengeti and impressed with a splendid view. The entire facility is lovely and typically African furnished. We got a room upgrade to the most beautiful room we've ever seen, thank you! All staff is very friendly and helpful. All tours we could book on site daily and also thank Arnot to our super driver just enjoy. Thanks! Depending on Safari wishes, a tour can be organised by the hotel. We would recommend the Safari package with lunch in the Serengeti, because such a great lunch had the other visitors there not ;-), thanks to the kitchen team at this point. The biodiversity of the animals here is impressive. The hotel's food and drink offer is excellent just as the service, thanks to the entire F&B team for the great time. Restaurant Boma is especially recommended. The view from the restaurants is also unforgettable. We would come back here at any time and recommend the hotel warmest.

Stayed for 4 days, every hotel staff was very enthusiastic and they would take the initiative to say hello to me. The hotel environment is very good, on a small hill about 30 kilometers from the Seronella airport, the room can overlook the Serengeti steppe. The hardware facilities are acceptable, the sanitation is relatively clean, and it is completely acceptable. I'm most satisfied with the food, especially the fried noodles. I think they made me the fried food directly.

When we arrived at Mbuzi Mawe, I felt like I had stepped onto a movie about a safari. Yes we stayed in “tents” but these are tents with real floors, real beds, hot water, and 24-hour electricity (and Wi-fi). At the same time this is very much the wild as when our escort came to take us to dinner he pointed out several African Buffalo less than 5 yards from the doors of our tents and we absolutely heard the lions at night. Our dinner was excellent - be sure to try the Serengeti Balls (they are amazing chocolate cake balls) - and the local Tanzanian dish was highly flavorful. This was the only place on our safari where we were given the option of picking what we wanted for lunch the following day in some level of detail which was nice. We had also arranged a brief walking safari. We were accompanied by a nature guide who provided us with an interesting orientation to the flora and fauna of the area and adapted our route when part of the path was blocked by buffalo. We were also joined by one of the park rangers too. The walk was not long or difficult and it was a nice chance for us to see things on foot instead of from a vehicle and is something I would recommend if you have the chance.
