Comme tous les Lodges situés dans le parc, le fait d'être entouré d'animaux sauvages implique des règles et de la prudence. Donc, devoir se déplacer à la nuit tombée nécessite un accompagnant. Rien à redire dessus. La nourriture est pas mal, même si bien manger et Tanzanie ne se marient pas trop ensemble, et la tente, comme souvent offre un confort relatif mais suffisant. Le hic est le manque d'intimité tant l'enfilade des tentes crée une promiscuité qui sent trop le tourisme de masse et enlève de charme à la beauté de la nature...

À faire une fois dans sa vie. Vous dormez dans des « tentes » de luxe tout confort avec douche et toilettes au milieu de la savane du Serengeti. C’est magique, le matin nous avons eu droit à une visite de 2 girafes et 2 girafons devant notre tente !! Pas mal de hyènes dans la zone mais aucun risques elles sont très craintives au moindre bruit et le personnel est toujours là. La nuit vous les entendrez tourner autour de la tente ^^ Vraiment magique de dormir là bas avec un ciel étoilé comme vous ne verrez nul par ailleurs .

Situé dans le parc Serengeti le THORN TREE CAMP d'où on peut voir les animaux à quelques mètres propose des tentes très bien équipées avec douche et toilette. La restauration mérite 1 étoile au Michelin. L'équipe est aux petits soins durant le séjour.

Un cadre fabuleux, au milieu de la nature sauvage,la tente est très grande et très bien agencee, nous avions la numero 5 et pour 2 personnes c est beaucoup plus grand qu une chambre d hotel...les repas sont très bons variés et copieux et l accueil du personnel souriant et aimable

un lieu absolument fabuleux , en plein milieu de la nature , des animaux .... l hebergement bien que sous tente est tres spacieux et confortable le petite dejeuner et le repas du soir sont tres copieux et variés .... le personnel est absolument charmant un seul regret n etre resté que 2 nuits

Camp de tentes au coeur du Serengeti sans clôture. Certes une expérience inoubliable dans un cadre magnifique mais pas très rassurés de n’être protégés des animaux de la Savane que par la toile de tente. Personnel adorable, repas très bons. Les tentes sont basiques avec coin sdb moyen, douche sommaire et un peu rouillée, température difficile à régler. Nous n’avons eu droit au feu de camp que le 1er soir. Soirée longue dans la tente car on nous y raccompagne vers 21h max avec interdiction de ressortir avant le lever du jour par sécurité. Perso, j’aurai apprécié une clôture. et une seule nuit m’aurait suffit.

Great place to stay with awsome staff and loads of wildlife aroud... including a pride of 10 or so lions... we saw two hunts right sitting outside of our tents. Dont be surpised if you have lions roaming around the camp at night. Evenings are awsome, zebras and wildebeest herds come and stand right across our tents... not to mention great food and wifi

Tende molto ampie e confortevoli, letti comodi, ottimo cibo, bagni dotati di doccia con acqua calda. Immerso nella savana: al risveglio al mattino nell'aprire la tenda ho visto giraffa intenta a mangiare, gazzelle e cicogna. Personale cortese.

ThornTree Camp in Serengeti was an amazing place we stayed at during our 8 days safari with Tanzania Horizon Safaris. The camp was like a cozy home in the middle of the Serengeti. The tents were big and comfy, and I felt like I was sleeping in a comfy bed surrounded by nature. The best part was waking up to the sounds of birds and animals. It was a real adventure and exactly what we were looking for. I enjoyed reading some books about wildlife while my family was still asleep. The camp staff was super friendly and always ready to help. They made sure we had everything we needed and even shared interesting stories about the animals in the area. The food was delicious! I tried some local dishes, and they were so tasty. It was like having a little food adventure every day. The campfire at night was my favorite. We sat around, shared stories, and looked at the stars. It was magical!
