This was my first experience staying in a migration camp and I couldn’t believe how nice it was. The accommodation, food and service were all top notch. I booked through a safari tour operator so I wasn’t that familiar with it until I arrived. The first thing I noticed was the sign saying that they were a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. The accommodations are part tent/part cabins with en suite flush toilets. Plenty of hot water in the shower. I thought we’d be roughing in some fashion but there was no compromise in quality compared to a traditional hotel room. Even the WiFi was very good, both in our room and in the common areas. Similar to some of the other lodges/camps in the area, they assign you a butler who, in reality, is a waiter. You tip the waiter separately from the rest of the staff. I personally don’t like the arrangement from a tipping perspective but our butler was very good. The Siringit Migration Camp is in the southern Serengeti for two months. They then spend two months breaking down everything and relocating to the northern Serengeti. It’s really amazing that this type of mobile camp can be so luxurious. They only have 8 units so be sure to book early! Highly recommended.

What an amazing stay we had! Everything was 5 Star - the accommodations, the view, the food, the staff ! John took care of our family of 8 and he is the best - he shared his knowledge of the area, the animals, his country - this made our experience even better. Issak and Livingston also made our stay great - we had an unforgettable "Sundowner Experience" on the Serengeti that was unforgettable! We heard animals at night, but never felt unsafe, woke to the sounds of birds and were treated like the finest guests, yet felt like we were with family. Such a wonderful place to stay and feel like you are part of the Serengeti. It was hard to leave and say goodbye to everyone there as we were serenaded by the staff as we left! The only sour note was one family who stayed for a night or 2 who were incredibly difficult and rude to the staff. So sad to see people behave badly when you are in such a beautiful place!

We loved our stay here! The staff was lovely and the accommodations are comfortable. Eugene as our tour guide was the highlight of our trip. I can’t stress this enough - if you can request him make sure you do! He makes sure you get close but safe to all the animals and is excellent at spotting things from far. He also ensures your overall experience is enjoyable.

The camp was located at Kogatende. Fantastic location in the middle of the action. Zebra’s, wildebeast, lions, elephants, beautiful birds…. We’ve seen a lot. James was our experienced guide. Tents are extremely comfortable and nicely decorated. The food was Michelin star quality. All this in the middle of nature. We come again.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at the Siringit Migration Camp. Our tent was fantastic, the common areas are nice, all meals were wonderful, and the complete staff was excellent. Our guide Eugene did an exceptional job – yes, we saw the wildebeests crossing the Mara – and our stay included an amazing hot air balloon trip.

Our time spent at Serengit Camp was absolutely amazing!! From our safari driver, Chacha to Nickson who protects you while you sleep! He keeps the animals away!! Also, John and Christopher!! And we can’t forget Issac. Wonderful people full of love and as we say in Hawaii lots of aloha!!!!

Our 3 night stay at Siringit Migration Camp was absolutely incredible. All staff went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. Chacha, our safari guide, worked tirelessly to get us in the best positions for the wildebeest crossings, and answered our specific request of finding a male lion x2. He was extremely positive and very attentive to our requests. Janet, our lead hostess, was extremely attentive to our dining needs as well. She also worked tirelessly to ensure all dining needs were met with a smile. Accommodations were splendid. 5 star glamping with hot showers, flush toilets, and comfortable beds overlooking the Serengeti. It’s an amazing experience listening to the wildebeest and zebras eating outside your tent at night and watching them migrate right through camp early the next morning. No hesitations for a guaranteed wonderful stay.

A phenomenal place to stay in the vast and beautiful Serengeti National Park. Not only were the rooms lovely and spacious, but the beds were SO comfortable! I slept like a baby there with the sounds of nature serenading me. The service was impeccable. Isaac, the manager, was friendly, helpful, and always had a smile on his face. They sang and danced for us during dinner and everyone looked like they were having a blast. The food was excellent. I cannot believe they take that whole camp up to the north for the migration and then back down to the south. It's an incredible task, and it seems they do it with pride and excellence. Highly recommend.
