Kenny Stay Jeju Seogwipo (Hotel Kenny)

Corner suite deluxe room - Ocean view. Check in: It feels like an abandoned hotel. There’s a reception desk but it’s dark and empty. It would have been better to clearly know this as I wasn’t able to understand where to store my luggage and ended up waiting around instead of going on with my activities so basically my one day there was wasted … Rooms: Not like the pictures .. It wasnt totally horrible but it wasn’t cozy or comfortable. Overall not clearly dirty but also doesnt feel clean or well taken cared of. Some hair on my pillow .. mold here and there. Sound proof is poor as I can hear toilet activities ..upstairs or next to me I don’t know. Also, throughout the night there’s clanking noise on and off .. unsure where it’s coming from. **Negative Experience: Late at night someone tried to use a card to open my door - it didn’t work thankfully. I then hear this person go around trying every door as all the doors kept beeping. This hotel has no reception so I couldn’t even call front desk - ironically there is a phone in the room to call reception tho. Location: convenient for market, waterfalls, few other attractions and airport bus. Simply put .. I would say this could be good as a last minute desperate move - and just get the cheapest room. If you choose the more expensive room then I recommend to pay just a little bit more for a better hotel.

Hotel is in the central of Seogwipo City next to the Ollie market. It provides free parking to guests which is very good for us who has a rental car. The room is compact but have everything a traveller needs. Self check in and self cleaning of your own room everyday. Used towels can be replaced by taking it from downstairs. One warning, do not open the window at night. There were like 20 mosquito flew in to our room and we can’t sleep the whole night!
