Koko Hotel Sendai Station South

The best thing about the hotel was that they had bath salts when I was choosing the amenities. I could watch Netflix on the TV if I connected it myself, so I was able to stay comfortably.

The front desk staff are very friendly, and several of them can communicate in English. Those who don't speak English can use Japanese + translator (the hotel has a special small machine). I am a plastic person and don’t speak Japanese, so the overall problem is not big. Personally, I think the room itself is fine. It's very close to Sendai Station, 10 minutes if you know the way. It’s easier to navigate there using Google Maps. Go out to Sendai Station 2F (1F above ground) and go left. When you see Parco2 (the sign on the building), face Parco2 and go down to the ground floor from the left. Then follow the navigation and you'll be there in a few minutes. The female staff at the front desk was very friendly and patiently provided help despite the language barrier. grateful! I was looking forward to it, but first of all, I couldn't check in smoothly because the reservation information such as the address was incorrect at the front desk. When I got to the room, there was a strange sour smell. It was dust on the bathroom exhaust fan. There was hair in the bathtub. I would like to think that it was a mistake in the information, but the room was not cleaned properly at all, so I had to ask for a room change. The changed room was as clean as the previous room was. The front desk was polite, but it was a disappointing memory because I was showing a friend around. As I have seen in other reviews, you can hear a lot of noise from outside the hotel and in the hallway. The location was very convenient. You can get to the station and Ichibancho without any problems. I hope that there will be various improvements by the time I stay next time.
