Quality Inn & Suites

File review Myself and my grandson were in town for a sleepover and pick up of auction stuff the following day. I did phone ahead to make sure that I would be able to get a room focused to the lobby or at least closest to the elevators if I was up on the second third or fourth floor. I was greeted and received a room close to the lobby. Couple of complaints I have. Are the eggs that had too much water in them. I was not aware until I got there that I would be charged a hundred dollar security deposit. I'm okay with that. However, I believe that should have been provided prior to my arrival after driving two and a half hours.

It all started with a phone call. We needed to change our reservation and couldn’t get through. The phone was busy…busy…busy for hours. We tried again in the morning and it was still busy! The number I found for the chain wasn’t helpful. It kept hanging up on us. I finally called a different Quality Inn to see if i could get a different phone number. I was given a National hotline number that worked. They were very helpful and I finally got through. When we arrived at the motel, the desk clerk had problems with our reservation. She had me run my card and then she took it along with my driver’s license and fiddled with the computer for a longer than usual while. I asked if there was a problem and she simply stated, “Yes.” No explanation. I noticed this morning that there were two charges on my card. Hopefully, one will drop off? 🤞🏻 The rooms are very clean and comfortable, but the breakfast was lacking. All that was offered were waffles, cold cereal, yogurt and crappy coffee. No kidding. Nothing else. No bread, pastries, fruit or hard boiled eggs which are hotel staples.

Great experinece with decent price. Staff was respectful and friendly. They took care of things well. Very clean rooms and overall good experience. We will stay again in the future when in the Louisville area.

Not worth the cheap rate. The staff was terrible at best. When I told them there was a roach in my room the joked and said “sorry about the extra pets in your room”. When I called back later and spoke with the manger I was told “sorry sometimes guests leave ‘things’ behind”. I showed pictures of the roach and even left it smashed to the door (I’m terrified of bugs and was alone) and when they checked the room they said “they didn’t see anything”. I will never stay at that hotel again and I recommend you don’t either. On top of the roach the furniture was trash day special. The office chair had so much leather cover missing it was grey instead of black. The tiny pillows combined with the hard as a rock bed lead to about 3 hrs of sleep. Then the cherry on top was the shower. The water pressure was terrible barley coming 2 inches off the faucet and the water never really got hot.

Very clean no-frills hotel, COMFY bed Very clean no-frills hotel, could definitely use updating but the room was clean, the linens were soft, and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was on site and very friendly.

Not so happy weary travelers! 😕 We arrived at 1:45 pm and was told we couldnt check in until 3. I said, Your sign says 2pm He said, not today you will have to come back. We waited in our car over an hour after driving for 9 hours. Went back in at 3 and got our room. Now all I want is a hot shower. Forget it. I turned the shower on and climbed in. No water pressure, NONE! As for the hot water, I had to stand in there for 20 minutes to get warm water. I was not happy at all. My husband used the toilet and went to flush it and the chain on the inside of the tank fell off. So everytime we had to use the facilities we had to stick our hand in the back tank and pull the rubber piece up. After all that I wanted to relax and watch TV on the bed. Didn't happen! The lights in the room flickered the whole time they were on. We were so tired by then we went to sleep. The next morning we got up to swim and you guessed it. The pool was closed. No explanation. He said, No, No pool, closed!!! The only reason I stayed was the king bed was comfortable. My husband was exhausted and we were there for our God daughters wedding on Saturday. I would not recommend this place. It was not up to our standards and the gentleman that checked us in (I believe was the owner) was rude and demanding.
