It all started with a phone call. We needed to change our reservation and couldn’t get through. The phone was busy…busy…busy for hours. We tried again in the morning and it was still busy! The number I found for the chain wasn’t helpful. It kept hanging up on us. I finally called a different Quality Inn to see if i could get a different phone number. I was given a National hotline number that worked. They were very helpful and I finally got through. When we arrived at the motel, the desk clerk had problems with our reservation. She had me run my card and then she took it along with my driver’s license and fiddled with the computer for a longer than usual while. I asked if there was a problem and she simply stated, “Yes.” No explanation. I noticed this morning that there were two charges on my card. Hopefully, one will drop off? 🤞🏻 The rooms are very clean and comfortable, but the breakfast was lacking. All that was offered were waffles, cold cereal, yogurt and crappy coffee. No kidding. Nothing else. No bread, pastries, fruit or hard boiled eggs which are hotel staples.
