Love the pool. The hotel provided daily free shuttle service once a day at 11am to the Grand Batam Mall. The return transfer is at 3pm. We had a complimentary upgrade to a one bedroom villa. Beautiful room with a view of the pool. We stayed in to use the facilities - gym, indoor pool, table tennis, bicycles, there is a Games Room (billiard, table soccer, basketball hoops, darts - all of which are free!). Breakfast menu changes everyday. Good variety. Would definitely love to come back. Next time for a longer stay.

My husband and I recently enjoyed a 2-day, 1-night stay at the hotel and it was a pleasant experience. The breakfast buffet was impressive, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. We also loved the nice swimming pool, which was perfect for a relaxing dip. The WiFi connection was strong and reliable, making it easy to stay connected. The staff were polite and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. While there weren't many activities to do around the area, the quiet nights made for a peaceful stay. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel and would recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Their response was prompt, when the electricity tripped in our room. It's also perfect for those who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the City.

The facilities are out of date and location is not close to city Center. We need to ask the staff to change the bed sheet n pillow case upon arrival, as there were stains on it. SPA area too many mosquito so not really enjoy the massage.

The hotel is nice but we didnt like the breakfast. The room is very spacious and cooling. The swimming pool is great but did spot a midium monitor lizard in the baby pool. The staff were all very nice and helpful. I wouldn't mind staying there again. My family liked the Japanese dinner in the hotel. Quite a peaceful place to stay in Holiday Inn, Batam.

Excellence counter service and great spacious room. Lack of variety of food in the restaurant and compacted landscape design with less vibrant greeneries.

Overall, it was a good experience. Nevertheless, charges of F&B at the hotel restaurant were way too expensive. On the other hand, staffs are friendly, helpful and understanding..

A few comments. 1) I booked the hotel through Trip.com and was told during check-in that I cannot enjoyed the points reward since it is booked via 3rd party instead of direct booking through hotel. 2) Provide hourly shuttle service to nearest ferry terminal (Sekupang terminal) and 1 trip at 10am to Grand Batam Mall. No service provide to Batam Centre ferry terminal. 3) No comments about the food as breakfast was not included unless I walk-in for it and have to pay at counter. 4) Room key was not working initially when check in and was told because I put next to my mobile phone and have to go back to front desk and get it change. Why was this not upfront alert to customer? 5) Gym threadmill was not working well during jogging and was not change or repair and dont instruction to inform not to use that threadmill. 6) While I was shaving in my bathroom, one of the housekeeper walk into my room without me knowing. Why is that so? He assumed I already check out?? Although he did shout 'housekeeping' but I was in the bathroom and cannot heard anything from inside. 7) Overall, the facilities look run down and old, no USB port for charging which clearly state that the hotel is very old. Overall facilities Overall need lots of improvement on refurbishment, shuttle service and manner of service to enter the room without acknowledgement.
