I booked this hotel under the assumption that it was a Taj property, only to later realize that Taj was merely marketing it. I had expected the signature Taj hospitality, but the management operated with a guesthouse mentality—prioritizing rules over delivering a true guest experience. While the team was polite and warm, they often seemed clueless, lacking spontaneity in offering assistance. There was a sense of confusion, and they appeared lost at times. The property itself is set in the wilderness, surrounded by farms, which provides a serene environment. However, the activities at the center were woefully inadequate. If they wish to position this as a ‘resort,’ they must provide amenities to match. There were no sports facilities, the spa was closed, and there were no entertainment options. The food choices were also very limited and basic. Overall, this property lacks a clear identity—it is neither a true resort nor a city-center business hotel. Its confused positioning, coupled with subpar management, does a disservice to the Taj brand. Listing this property under Taj Hotels gives misleading expectations and ultimately tarnishes the reputation associated with the name.
