La Mesa Segureña

We stayed in a room with a stunning view over the Segura mountains. We visited in a summer heatwave so air conditioning was nice just to cool the room down but in the evening a cool breeze comes up anyway so you can open the window. The room must be really cosy in winter, there is a little open fire and some wood. The bathroom is fine, clean and has all you need. We ate in their restaurant as well - again, on the terrace the views are stunning. The food is very good, simple Spanish country food and the service is excellent, with good explanations of things. You might not want to drive up the road in the dark, but it didn't seem so bad going back down in daylight! Thoroughly recommended, so glad we went - and amazing value for money.
