The View Hotel

The hotel is centrally located, about a 15-minute walk from the train station. We checked out with our bags and took a Grab bus for RM5. The room was nice. We arrived late, and the staff had already turned on the air conditioning, making it incredibly comfortable. It was on the 7th floor, with a great view of the street. I took a photo of the sunset that evening, which was quite beautiful. The front desk service was excellent. Upon entering the room, I noticed no disposable slippers, toothbrushes, or shampoo (only a bottle of shower gel mounted on the wall). I immediately called the front desk to explain the situation, and the staff promptly brought it to the room. The hotel was clean and tidy. There are three large supermarkets within a 5-minute walk, which I really enjoyed. Food is also conveniently located, with numerous tea restaurants and a KFC next to the hotel. There are also two fruit stalls nearby, one owned by a Chinese man and located next to the supermarket. I ate durian three days in a row, the standard price being RM8 per kilo, and some RM5 per kilo. I'll be staying here again next June when durian season is peak. Segamat durian is extremely famous. I came here just for the durian, but it’s a pity that we’ve reached the end of the durian season.
