A beautiful, modern building right on the beach.. only separated from the beach by the promenade.. powdery sand beach 👍 delicious snacks on the beach.. everything well-kept and clean.. great beds!! Delicious drinks at the hotel bar.. pool and loungers unfortunately overcrowded in August.. breakfast very tasty.. very friendly service.. we will be back👍
We didn't try the other restaurants, we will do that later..

Tolle Lage. Tolles Frühstück. Viel zuwenig Personal. Verbliebenes Personal muss nur rennen, ist aber trotzdem sehr höflich. Dadurch ist Wohlfühlen schwer möglich. Rezeption notorisch unterbesetzt. Telefon extern wie intern wird nicht abgenommen. Keine Hilfe beim Ein- und Auschecken Mut dem Gepäck. Alle Pagen fehlen. Emails erst nach mehrfachen Erinnerungen nach Tagen beantwortet. Zuweisung an Wunschzimmer nur gegen Aufpreis trotz teuer gebuchter Zimmerkategorie. Lebt ausschließlich von der Lage. Service entspricht in keinster Weise dem Anpruch eines Viersternehotels. Frühstück toll und immer vorhanden. Hauptrestaurant die halbe Woche geschlossen. Bistro deshalb Reservierung im Schichtbetreib. Essenqualität normal aber total überteuert (Rumpsteak 200g ohne Schnickschnack 45€). Schlechter bis kein Service beim Anmieten von Fahrrädern.

Waren heute zu zweit in der Hotelbar. Haben 20 Minuten auf unsere Getränke gewartet. Es waren drei Personen in der Bar. Aber leider hat man es nicht hinbekommen unsere Bestellung zu machen. Wir sind dann auf gestanden. Dann wurden wir auch noch gefragt ob wir etwas bestellt haben. Das darf für so ein Haus mit entsprechenden Preisen nicht passieren. Es war auch wirklich nicht viel zu tun. Die Bar war nicht voll. Einfach nur enttäuschend.

Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage, sehr gemütliche Zimmer, eine vielfältige Wellness-Abteilung und ein außergewöhnliches Frühstück mit einer veganen Abteilung. Man kann sich echt erholen. Der einzige, aber entscheidende Minuspunkt ist das Empfangspersonal und die mit ihm verbundene Kommunikation. Zunächst fallen zwei ältere Herren auf, die offensichtlich als „Portiere“ dienen. Kurz umschrieben: Laut, Wichtigtuerisch und ihre Kompetenzen überschreitend. Man fragt sich, wozu dieser „DDR“-Stil dient.; in einem Haus mit dieser Qualität. Des Weiteren hat man beim Ein- oder Auschecken bis auf wenige kompetente Mitarbeiterinnen mit Personal zu tun, die entweder gar nicht oder nur mangelhaft ausgebildet sind: suchen länger herum, man wird im Computer nicht als langjähriger Gast erkannt, salopper Umgangston und unpersönlich. Da wundert es nicht, dass am Ende eine dreistellige Summe zuviel berechnet wurde. Nach ca. 10 E-Mails und mehreren Anrufversuchen hat sich eine Mitarbeiterin bequemt, den Fall zu bearbeiten. Wenn einem Empfang, Kommunikation und Abrechnungfehler nicht wichtig sind, ist man dort gut aufgehoben.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Steigenberger in Heringsdorf! Es ist immer wieder schön! Toller beheizter Pool, schöner Saunabereich und ein wundervolles Frühstück. Einen langen Spaziergang am Strand bis nach Polen können wir empfehlen und wenn die Füße müde sind, kann man von dort mit dem Zug zurück an den Bahnhof innerhalb weniger Minuten fahren und schnell ins Hotel.
