My wife and I booked to stop here for 2 nights during a tour of the Black Forest. The hotel itself is in an idyllic location in the mountains and by a lake. Large car park but can be busy during the day. The rooms were large with a great view and powerful shower. The restaurant serves good food at a leisurely pace so you can spend the evening at the table without any time constraints. The downside was the weather. We stayed in the middle of a heatwave with temperatures reaching 39c during the day and still very warm at night. Our room faced west with full height glazing and no Air Conditioning so was unbearable. After the first night we reported the situation to reception, but the lady just shrugged and offered no solution, not even a fan. Therefore we said we could not stay a second night and checked out. No refund was offered for the early departure.

L’accueil a été parfait Notre chambre très spacieuse avec vue sur le lac ET sur la vallée était magnifique et le petit courant d’air bienvenu après cette chaude journée à Baden Top jusqu’au sauna et le lieu de détente. Le petit déjeuner avec une personne spécialement dédiée à la cuisson des œufs à la demande (sur le plat avec lard et champignons…) Nous y retournerons assurément

Der Mummelsee ein Besuchermagnet im Schwarzwald. Am Tag gleicht die Gegend um den See einem Ameisenhaufen, schön ist es, dass man dann als Hotelgast einen Parkplatz bekommt, gleich beim Betreten des Hotels eine angenehme Ruhe herrscht. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, wir hatten den Blick direkt auf den See, auf dem Balkon lässt es sich angenehm sitzen. Vor allem die Ruhe, die am Abend einkehrt, wenn die Tagesgäste wieder zu Hause sind ist besonders. Sehr angenehmes Personal, alles war sauber, sehr empfehlenswert.

Ein schönes Hotel in einmaliger Lage mitten in der Natur und an der Schwarzwaldhochstraße, mit guter Küche und einem tollen Frühstücksbuffet. Die Zimmer sind renoviert und großzügig. Alles rundum sehr angenehm, unkompliziert und zum Wohlfühlen!

Chambre vue lac avec balcon extra et repas parfaits- le petit déjeuner est très copieux et le dîner a été très bon. Juste un détail il n’y avait pas de plan ni de conseil pour les randonnées possibles à l’accueil - vu l’emplacement c’est dommage

We gaan hier al jaren ontbijten en ineens wordt er trinkgeld (fooi berekend) wel bijzonder en het ontbijt kost al 26,90 per persoon is toch al best aan de prijs. Ontbijt was prima er ontbreekt echt niets en de locatie is bijzonder mooi zeker bij mooi weer kun je er heerlijk buiten zitten.

Wir hatten eine traumhafte Silberhochzeit im Berghotel. Vom einchecken über Sektempfang bis hin zu einem wunderbaren Abendessen in der Kaminstube alles wie immer Perfekt. Wir haben mit den Kurzen in einer Suite geschlafen .( Auch das wir kurzfristig unseren Husky mitgebracht haben war kein Problem)hierfür sich nochmals vielen Dank . die Suite war sehr geräumig und hatte Talblick . Der Rest der Familie in vier Doppelzimmern mit Seeblick . Auch am anderen Morgen das fulminante Frühstücksbuffet war wie immer wunderbar . Vielen vielen dank an die Familie Müller und Ihr tolles Team vom Berghotel Mummelsee . Wir kommen zu 1000 Prozent wieder .
