Good location, comfortable bed, excellent water pressure in shower. Average breakfast selection. Sealed windows so don’t expect to enjoy the sea brise. Tasty food at dinner. Overpriced for the offered amenities.

Lovely comfortable bed and the room was clean. Excellent central location only 5 minutes from sea front and 10 minutes from town centre. Facilities at breakfast were ok but toaster needs upgrading - very slow. Food at evening meal was ok, but limited choice and service was poor - needs more staff on. Adequate parking but why the extra charge when most guests arrive by car?

This has gone downhill since my previous visit last year. My room had a weird smell (damp/burnt cheese) and the pillow cases didn't smell fresh- as if the room hadn't been occupied for a while. The ventilation system was very noisy and ineffective and because the windows didn't open the smell persisted. The toilet paper dispenser hadn't been filled up and only had a handful of sheets left. The stairs and landing areas obviously hadn't been vacuumed for a while and two days later still hadn't been touched. At breakfast, the young female member of staff didn't greet me but just asked "Have you paid for your breakfast in advance?". Worse still, on one day the pile of plates for the cooked buffet at breakfast had dirty plates and a dirty plastic cover at the top of the pile. It made me wonder what other kitchen routines were slapdash and unhygienic.

Having read some previous reviews we were a little anxious about staying at Seaton. It turned out to be fine. We had quiet rooms which were nice and cool during the hot weather. Breakfast excellent. The restaurant was understaffed on one evening but the arrival of PI management should redress this. Food itself was good - hot and freshly cooked. Staff member Tony deserves a mention for working very hard.

Some recently posted reviews have not been so favourable, and I took the booking with some trepidation. All unfounded - and I'm leaving a review (not normally done) in support, to redress the balance. I had a room on the first floor. The room met all expectations of the Standard Premier Inn room experience: comfortable bed, clean, modern bathroom, standard furniture (desk, chair, single sofa), standard medium-size TV (with connectivity to HDMI cable), wifi (speed was a little patchy to begin with, but settled). Breakfast was standard PI, plentiful and served hot. Did not have an evening meal there (heard from check-in staff that restaurant was closed for evening meals anyway...). One improvement would be to have the auto check-in machines working (I see this has been mentioned before ...). Overall, a good experience - no reason not to recommend!

Well situated Premier Inn. Close to town and amenities. Pay for parking is something I hate but I would imagine there is very little else locally. So £7 per day was acceptablish. Unfortunately there was a catering problem and we had paid for the meal deal which included a restructed dinner and full breakfast. By the second day, the regional manager had been brought in to try and sort things out. Must admit our final evening meal was a more organised affair.

One of the worst premier inn hotels we have stayed in. No communal toilets to use on arrival as both out of order told to go to tesco over the road. Very poor hygiene. Unable to book a table for a evening meal after 19.30 being told that they were very busy however we booked for 19.00 to find all guest had arrived by 19.30.

We stayed for one night to meet up with friends. The hotel itself is very conveniently situated with a large car park So very disappointed with the room, pillows on the bed so old they were flat and the spare ones were like bricks, had to throw it out of bed in the night. 2 bath towels but only one hand towel, no cups or beakers in the bathroom. For drinks, just 2 teabags, 2 sachets of coffee and 4 milks, was told as we were leaving there were more in reception but too late by then. On the plus side, the staff were excellent, we would have liked to eat out but couldn’t get booked in at any eateries around that area so ate in the hotel. Food was adequate and the two young ladies, Shelby and Cloe were so helpful and fun , nothing was too much trouble . The best bit was breakfast, an excellent choice of fruit, yoghurt, cereals etc, continental and traditional English fry up, all hot and cooked beautifully. As we weren’t leaving until much later that day, the young man arranged parking until midnight so we could just leave when we were ready Over all a very pleasant stay.
