The person at the front desk was a curt and very passive aggressive when I told her about the dirty couch and table being dirty.
She asked if I called the front desk. I said yes but no one answer. She then asked if I left a message. I said no, as I had called earlier to make sure that rollaway beds where available. The man that answered the phone said that room service had left for the day and he didn’t know. Luckily the rollaways were there.
I told her that I cleaned and vacuumed the couch. She then proceeded to asked me how I cleaned it, and if I had bought a new vacuum. I said no, I own a housekeeping business and had one in my car.
I explained that I wasn’t trying to get a discount but that housekeeping should do a better job. As I wasn’t going to wait until the following day for housekeeping since we wanted to actually use the couch. I said overall the place was good. Her response was “Oh good have a good day!”
The location was great and close to the beach.
Since I own a cleaning business I know that would’ve wanted to know if the housekeeping was not good so I could do better.
