WorldMark Seaside

We love to stay here when visiting Seaside. We were in a 3 bedroom for the 7 of us. Rooms included one king bed, two twin beds, one queen bed, and a murphy bed. Activities daily on grounds like movies and bingo too! Great view and it was on the beach! Lots of shops/restaurants within walking distance. Great candy shop nearby with chocolate covered bacon too! Nearby, there is also an arcade, mini -golf and a carousel in the mall. The aquarium is an easy walk two blocks down. Loved feeding the harbor seals, petting starfish, petting sea anenomes and seeing the sea life. Very relaxing pkace to spend timw with our family.

The view and location are fantastic. I would rate the view and location a 10 if I could. The customer service was great and we felt very welcome and comfortable. The property overall is showing some wear and needs to be updated. We stayed on the 8th floor in the northwest corner unit. The master bathroom jetted tub is especially dated and appears dirty in this unit, although I think it is just discolored. The unit overall was pretty clean. The furniture is showing some wear and dirt on the arms. The carpet in the living room area had a stain. Another important thing to note, there is no air conditioning in any of the units. It seems most properties in Seaside do not have a/c. It does cool off at night for sleeping but the unit got pretty warm in the afternoons (in July). There was a box fan we used most of the time. We are not owners here but enjoyed our time here overall.

We are 2 adults and 2 pre-teens and we stayed at Worldmark Seaside the end of July 2024 in a 2 bedroom unit, 3rd floor room 3332. Pros: *Friendly customer service and easy check-in! They were not high pressure on sales when we checked in (this was one of my biggest concerns based on other reviews). They gave us information and invited us to attend an informational session, but we declined and they didn’t go further. They did call a few times to check if we wanted more info, but we just declined and hung up and that was fine. *Beautiful pool area. Pool a little chilly, but I loved the big hot tubs. It is busy and that is to be expected. *I loved that they gave us bracelets as our key card. It was so much easier for us and our kids to manage. We also got discounts on our many gelato stops during our week! *The beds were extremely comfortable and I’m usually picky about that. Plenty of pillows too! *Basic stocked kitchen. Enough for our needs. Included detergent for laundry too. *The location can’t be beat. It is right on the beach and such a great area to be able to walk to shops and restaurants. *Parking was a pleasant surprise. We were on the 3rd floor and the parking on the 3rd floor allowed us to enter on our floor without taking the elevator. They were also great about giving passes for parking for our guests. Plenty of luggage racks for use! *It was busy, but elevators were efficient and worked well. Cons: *No A/C and windows barely open. They are hopper-style windows and you can’t put a fan in the window or anything. No screens on windows or patio door, but bugs weren’t much of an issue. However, the noise on the outer Southern facing units (We were in 3332) was okay in the evening, but EVERY SINGLE MORNING there was a loud garbage truck or sweeper with the back-up beeping noise starting at 6am. It was too hot for us to keep our windows closed. It was frustrating. I would request an inner-U window ahead of time. *The campfire smoke will infiltrate every item you own. It is the summer at Seaside, so the beaches are busy and if the air quality isn’t great then the campfire smoke gets just so thick. This was an issue since we had to keep our windows and door open or it would get too hot. This probably wouldn’t be an issue at cooler and less busy times of the year. The unit was just filled with campfire smell. *The unit refrigerator must have been previously used to hold crab. Although it looked clean, the smell was really awful when opening the fridge. I did not notify the management because I didn’t think that there was anything they could do and it was late on our first night. I bought some baking soda and tried to deodorize it which helped a bit. *The unit was nicely furnished, but it is in need of updates. The blinds still have the very long cords on them which I am surprised have not been replaced. Be careful with young kids. *Toilets are short and loud, some kitchen tiles are cracked (wear and tear), there is a little damag

The furniture is dirty and the carpet in the living room area had a huge stain. Another important thing to note, there is no air conditioning in the hotel. The unit gets pretty warm in the afternoons. We are not owners here and this place would not convince me to buy.

I was extremely disappointed in the cost. The elevator wasn't working consequently it was necessary to use the steps going up and down to the 4th Floor middle of the building. .Lots of walking which we didn't mind to much. When taking the elevator with are luggage we had to wait extremely long waits. It took 6 times before we could get an elevator..

Stayed in a two bedroom until. My kids loved the heated outdoor pool. The views were stunning. The ocean was wonderful to listen to. The only downside was check in was late. They gave us the option to check out an hour later but still its frustrating not having a room ready after driving hours with the kids in the car.

The room was spotless and the space was perfect for a three person trip. The check in was very late due to staffing in the off season. The only thing that was disappointing was that several of the games in the activity room were in poor condition or out of order.

Nice resort at the center of everything, easy walk to shops and restaurants. Beach is steps away. Surfs up! Makes a great spot for family get togethers or romantic getaway. Other nice Beach Towns near by.

We've been here before during Covid and didn't have to attend sales pitch (yes, call it what it is; not an enhancement presentation). Check in was like running a gauntlet. First stand in line for way too long to see a clerk in a very noisy lobgy, then be told to check in with someone else to get a parking pass to a room key controlled parking garage, who hands you off to a stong-arm concierge who won't take no for an answer when you decline to attend the so called presentation. After about 20 minutes of explaining why I wasn't interested, (having owned my timeshare weeks for over 25 years and attended many "presentations"), I finally gave in just to shut her up. They take a deposit on your credit card so you can't back out of attending. The information about what was to be covered and how long it would take was misrepresented, bordering on deceit. It was a sour way to start our stay. The presentation was exactly what we expected and did not need nor wanted to hear...a high pressure sales pitch for an over-priced product. A total waste of time for everybody. The "incentive" was misrepresented as well...they said they would return the week we exchanged to stay there. What we received was a week of off-season, bottom of the barrel stay that nobody else wanted resort selection, not an exchange week with RCI. The resort itself is right on the beach and most rooms have an oblique view of the ocean. The facilities are comfortable enough and clean. There are many good restaurants and activities in the area although definitely on the touristy side.
