Skyview Manor Motel

The room was dirty, it did have a hot shower and comfortable bed. Wasn’t the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. Wasn’t the best room I’ve ever stayed in.

What a crazy stay The guy at the front desk gave me a paper with a total amount that dint match my booking price. Once in the room, the fridge didn't work. The curtains wouldn't stay closed and the whole one wall is a window. So people can just walk by and watch you sleep. Also my room key opened other rooms, like it was a master key. I only found this out because the guy at the front desk told me a different room number then what was on the key. I ended up walking in on people sleeping in their beds.

Ok hotel for families There are pros and cons it really depends if your the picky type that would point out every flaw and yes there are many flaws. The bathroom was in rough shape with a tub that was literally painted over in blue paint definitely not pretty but the shower had good hot water. The room was spacious and I like wooden floors you could tell the room floor was mopped but not our bathroom floor that was dirty. The beds are hard the comforter had tears. The walls are not nice it would take a lot of cosmetic work to bring this hotel up to be more modern. The pool is large it’s heated this was our family’s favorite. Parking is tight and they use 3 different areas for parking. It’s in a great location short walk onto boardwalk and beach. Overall we are not picky on looks it for the most part was clean and with a lot of space and the pool and location we would probably stay again.

Location, location, location....close to the beach Location, location, location.....one block from the boardwalk was what I wanted and that's what I got. They upgraded me to an apartment. It was greatly appreciated. Everything I asked for was addressed promptly and with a smile. It's not the Ritz, but it is a motel, with staff and an owner who want the best for their guests. I would stay there again.

Ok but nothing fantastic Room was just ok. Nothing spectacular. Could really use some updates and work. Tub was peeling. Bed was hard as a rock. They had security patrolling the parking lots telling people where to park because there lot is so small and tight spaces. They had more than one parking lot and the ones not being controlled by security people were double parking and taking two spaces. Elevator had a sign saying service hours 9am to 9pm so we were not sure if it would be working or not when we got back to the hotel after 9. Luckily they were still going when we got back. Rooms were non smoking but outside and walkways smelled like an ash tray. Pool was nice. Hotel was ok for one night which is all we stayed but probably would not return again. Hotel was ok but definitely looks/feels cheap. Check out is at 10:00 and they definitely want your vehicle out of there by then. We like the close proximity to the boardwalk. We went to get coffee before we left and made sure it was ok to leave our car there and first question we got was how long it it gonna be there. They approved for long enough to get coffee.
