Having reserved a double room in this hotel we discovered that the household we were in in Scotland had two cases testing positive so I had to ring and cancel our reservation at very short notice in case we too had been infected. As it turned out we tested negative for the next couple of days but nevertheless it ruined our stay at Seahouses. I would just like to record how wonderfully helpful positive and understanding the proprietor was. I hope to return this time with no infectious pandemics to get in the way Best wishes from Berlin Nigel

We were booked in for a four night stay. The room was wonderfully clean and the bathroom huge, complete with a bath and great hot shower. A good selection of teas and biscuits in the room as well as a fridge so we could keep a bottle of wine good and cold. We were made to feel very welcome, lots of helpful advice on walks to take. The breakfasts were fantastic, from the full Northumbrian to lots of fish options. Use of the dining room during the day meant we were able to rest our aching feet, while still enjoying the amazing view of the sea. A perfect location for exploring this part of the coast.

Its great hotel, good fun cheerful staff, great breakfast, a lovely room "Longstone" with a very comfy bed, power shower, and wonderful views towards Bamburgh and Lindisfarne. We were very comfortable here, and had a relaxing holiday. Thanks to everyone at St Aidan, we will return.

Great location and there is more life in Seahouses than the other places of interest. Lovely friendly staff with lots of local tips. Accommodation spacious, clean and lovely. Great views from the bedroom. Breakfasts to set you up for the day! Would highly recommend to my friends and family

Myself and my husband visit Seahouses on a regular basis and were looking for accommodation for my husbands parents for a break. Unfortunately no availability which is fine and cannot be helped, but completely shocked to have the phone put down on me when I requested recommendations for somewhere else to try. The telephone manner of this lady was totally unacceptable and far below expectations. To think we had suggested this place due to reviews we are greatly disappointed. We also run a hospitality business and would not deal with a telephone enquiry in this manner whether full or not! What a shame!

We had a great stay at this lovely B&B, would highly recommend it. Very clean and a good choice at breakfast. Rob and his team ensure guests are well looked after. We had a brilliant view of the Farne Islands and the location couldn’t be better. Will definitely return in the future.

We stayed for 3 nights and from the moment we walked into the hotel the staff were brilliant. This followed on through the breakfasts we had which really were stunning, I would recommend the eggs Benedict all day long. Our room was a little small (Megstone) but was clean, comfortable and had stunning views of the Farne Islands. If I had any negative feedback to give (and it would be absolutely minimal) it would be that the bathroom could do with some minor adjustments re the bin being slightly rusty and the tape around the edge of the bath. Would we stay again or recommend to friends.....yes 100%. I have always been proud of how friendly and helpful Yorkshire people are but I have found this week that the folk on the Northumbrian coast are cut from the same cloth. Everywhere we went we found the local people friendly,warm and helpful.

Stayed in Longstone room. It has excellent views over Bamburgh Castle. I was mesmerised by watching the sunset each evening over the castle. Breakfast was really good. I would recommend the eggs benedict. One of the best hotel breakfasts I have experienced.

I made a mistake in my booking . but the staff did everything they could to make me happy. breakfast room views of Bamburgh castle in the distance delightful. dog got a sausage every morning so he was happy 🐶
