My wife and I stayed here one night. Our king room was comfortable. However, it was located in the basement. I had asked the check in clerk for a room on the upper floor. She stated that we got the basement room as we booked through *******. We were in room 105. The shower knob came off but the shower did work. Also the door dead bolt did not work. I shared this with the clerk at check out. He appeared to be confused and nonchalant. He did not write anything down! Location is pretty good. There is a Walmart about a quarter mile away. The hotel is located by a residential neighborhood. I ran in the area. Parking lot is nice but there is lots of trash in the forested area. Should be cleaned up. Breakfast was average. The tangerines were nice. The gym has a nice set of weights. The floor labeling in the elevator is inconsistent with the room numbers. Floor 1 is not labelled floor 1 on the elevator. This should be corrected.

When we entered the lobby (which had stairs and no ramp to the front desk), I felt dizzy from the fragrance that permeated the hotel. The staff said that it was pumped into the air although they could no longer smell it. When we got into our room, it was not any better. It felt like the old smoke smell was covered up by air freshener; I had to run the fan on high all night long. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls, and I found hair in the shower. The mattress gave me a backache in the morning. For the price they charge, I expected a lot more.

Good service and comfy Decided this stop at the last minute while traveling home. When we got to the room it had an odor of cigarette smoke. We reported it and were changed to another room Slept well and ready to continue on our trip.

Our stay was just ok. Room was a little outdated and not as clean as we had hoped. Room had large spots on the ceiling from water damage, and there were some traces of food on things in the room. We asked for maid service only one day, and after being out 9 hours, came back to our room and no cleaning was done. We had to ask them to come and empty trash cans and give us new towels. TV didn’t work one morning. Staff was accommodating though and the room was spacious.
