clean and convenient. Abit of a walk to old town but doable

This was my first time visiting Scottsdale, AZ. My husband had lived in the area years ago and had always wanted to bring the family down to see the mountains and do a little bit of hiking. This hotel was really nice, warm, and homey! We arrived around noon but our room wasn't ready which is understandable since it was Sunday and we were so early. They told us we could use the pool and they would take our bags and hold them and call us when it's ready. Not a problem, instead we walked across the street and ate at Red lobster for lunch. When we returned, the front desk informed us the room was ready. They also let us know that as Priority Club members, we were invited down for complimentary drinks, chips, and cookies in the evening. Our room was located on the second floor. You had the option of having a balcolny near the pool but we decided against it. The room was nice and clean. It had a seperate bedroom with two queen beds and a TV. The living room had a pullout couch along with a refrigerator and microwave. This place was very roomy and comfortable for my family of 5. The pool was great for all of us and the hot tub was fun at night. Now on to happy hour! They had draft beer and wine to choose from. For the kids, they had pop and nachos with warm cheese and chili sauce. Everyone was happy and it was all included in our price for Priority Club members! The beds were so comfortable and we never heard anyone through the walls. They served a nice hot breakfast in the morning with omelets, bacon, sausage, bagels, yogurt, pancakes, bisquits, gravy, juice, coffee, chocolate milk.....need I say more? We stayed for 3 days and it never got old! Lot's of places to eat and shop nearby within a short walk or short drive. We never ran into any issues with this hotel and the area around us was even nice! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to this area!

Must admit I like Holiday Inn always have especially in US and this one was good - nice room nice pool area etc etc but unfortunately it was a little odd in that there were for once some negatives. Firstly not recognised at check-in as a Gold member - might sound petty but it is their own imposed standard and it failed, secondly the WiFi particularly at the pool area was incredibly poor to non existent and finally breakfast - most have some fresh cut fruit which as vegans goes a long way to making up for the absence of other stuff but nothing here. Sorry IHG hate to complain about a brand I like but this was below par. Also had a bill problem which I admit was resolved but shouldn't have occurred.

This location is walking distance from our corporate offices in Scottsdale. They offer a free continental breakfast kind of on the light side but still plenty to fill up on. They also they manager is happy hour every night where they have beer and wine available to hotel guests. The Price is reasonable it was around $100 a night. The rooms are like many sweets with a fridge coffee maker microwave a sitting room with a TV and a bedroom with a TV. The facilities does have a weight room with tread wheels and a pool. there's a Lo-Lo's Chicken and waffles in the parking lot if you'd like to just walk to dinner or have drinks.

Reasonably well located close to the Old Town Scottsdale which we were exploring for the day and staying for one night. The room was clean & the bed comfy. Sadly, there was no bar at the hotel where we could relax after a day of exploring, we were directed to the bar & restaurant that shared the hotel car park but it was closed at 21:00hrs. Breakfast at the hotel was OK
