Red Roof Inn & Suites Scottsboro

This place was dirty! The baseboards were NOT clean, the bathroom had stray hairs, the beds were so soft they sagged in the middle causing back pain and the locks on the door looked like it'd been broken into and attempted to fix. Large bugs above the curtains that were dead and alive! The toilet paper was so thin we went thru it QUICKLY! The only good thing was the hot breakfast. I was informed this place was updated in 2016. Looked more like 2000! Not worth what we paid. $81.99 a night
Comfort Inn & Suites Near Lake Guntersville

Met at front desk with a young man that was very polite and very friendly. Very clean, the beds are VERY comfortable. Spacious room with a microwave and dorm fridge. We enjoyed our stay. It was nice, quiet, and very restful. The breakfast had eggs, sausage and fruit along with other pastries. Conveniently located to everything you need to travel, gas, groceries, shopping, and lots of thrift, antique stores. Overall one of the nicer hotels we have stayed in!

Budgetel Inn

It's typically inexpensive place. I think it's under a remodeling. If you get the rooms on the backside or Northside it's much quieter from the road noise.
