Total wow factor on driving up, reception staff were welcoming and helpful, Concierge was knowledgeable and went above and beyond. Managed to get in the room early and the balcony overlooking the courtyard sealed the deal. Evening meal at Charlie's was super tasty and staff again were top of their game. Lots of beds in the Spa which was peaceful, clean and very comfortable.

Had a fabulous visit for my husbands birthday, Hotel and grounds are amazing. Food in the restaurant was great, all the staff are so helpful and nice. The Spa facilities are amazing and outdoor infinity pool fab. Will definitely like to book again.

We came here to relax for a few days and left feeling very chilled. The spa is 10/10, wonderful outdoor heated pool, jacuzzi, saunas and plunge pool. The indoor spa beds were relaxing and chilled ambience. The meal at Charlie's was also 10/10. Would highly recommend the castle balcony suite, beautiful views overlooking the garden and spacious room as you'd expect in a castle. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this gem of a hotel and would highly recommend.

Another enjoyable and relaxing stay. All aspects of this hotel spa and golf course continue to be of a very high standard. Excellent breakfast and dinner options. Heated outdoor pool is a bonus!

Poor service for the price charged. Lovely location and outside space . Go elsewhere if you want 5 star service.

We appreciated our lovely stay. What a fine hotel. The staff were terrific and helpful. I didn't like the suggested 5 percent service charge on the bill, and they took it off. It was the only hotel on our 3-week trip that had a service charge.

Beautiful hotel in stunning grounds. We stayed 7 nights from 23rd August and I think we tried almost everything on the menu at Charlie’s Bistro. All of which was top quality, beautifully prepared and served by staff who made us feel so welcome. The spa is a must and the heated outdoor pool and saunas made even the rainy days relaxing. Not being golfers or into fishing we can see why the hotel attracts those who are. We met several four legged friends in the bars and at breakfast all of which were very well behaved. We would highly recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again
