18 of us (Triking Group) stayed for 3 nights. The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and we thoroughly recommend staying there.

It was a Saturday lunch time in August, the bar was completely empty! Not one other customer which we thought was unusual, seeing as it’s peak season. Still, we waited and waited and waited at the bar, hoping someone would come and serve us. Eventually a lovely member of bar staff appeared and apologised for the delay in serving and was very welcoming and helpful. However the overall experience was dreadful! The owner/landlord was incredibly rude to myself and our 3 toddlers, considering there were no customers I’ve never been made to feel less welcome by him. Do not bring children here, they are not welcome! What should have been a lovely time, showing our cousin from the US a 16th century coaching inn, was ruined by the rude landlord.

Had a brilliant time at the opening night of the new Greek restaurant and grill. The food was great, also the music, staff, service at atmosphere. Sorry we missed the dancing. It was like being on holiday, except everyone spoke English 🇬🇷

This 17thC property is situated in a small village. It was ideally located for the daytime visits we were scheduled to do. Staff were all very pleasant and rooms were different too, located in and around the building. Ate in the bar and enjoyed the bar menu.

This was my first time in a coaching inn and I was impressed. My Coach House room had modern amenities like a mini fridge and free WiFi, yet the stone walls reminded me of its 1829 heritage. Housekeeping replaced towels daily and offered local tips. Each morning I sipped coffee in the courtyard, and evenings I enjoyed a pub meal by the bar.

The bar radiates an inviting charm that feels both familiar and special, like stumbling upon a well-kept secret a good friend couldn’t wait to share. Every detail, from the artfully chalked specials board to the soft jazz drifting from discreet speakers, contributes to an atmosphere designed for true relaxation.

Attended a friend's wedding here and it was flawless. The decor was stunning—perfect for photos. The bar team served amazing cocktails. I've been to many venues, but none felt as cozy and historic as this. A truly memorable and charming setting for any special occasion.

The countryside views were absolutely stunning, making for a peaceful and scenic escape...........!!!!!!!!!!!! The room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing and restful stay............!!!!!!!!!!!!!
