Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ann Arbor West

Meh :( Things are getting a little worse over time. We have stayed here at least three times so far, but this time it is obvious things are getting worse. Here are some of the many annoying issues we found that don't sound like much individually, but together affect the stay a lot: The breakfast is sub-par: The eggs are not eggs, and all other options are limited. They replaced the normal coffee with machines :), but they still dialed down the strength to weak :( The staff in the evening was kind of grumpy. They charge $3.50 for a bottle of water. They don't follow our room cleaning requests properly. They removed the coffee machines from the rooms. And the two beds share one side-table (two people have to use the floor). Overall, not worth the price they charge. We used to recommend this place to people coming to Ann Arbor, but now feel there are better options out there. The worst part is that this could be a great place to stay with little effort. We will not be coming back :(

Last minute hotel booking. We met our front desk human Billy. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life! Even offered several recommendations for where to eat and things to do! 10 out of 10 recommend from our experience with Billy alone!

Great staff at hotel

We came from Seattle with family to attend our granddaughter’s graduation. We spent 4 nights at the Holiday Inn Express and were very impressed. The room was impeccable, the staff were so friendly and the breakfast was very, very good with many choices and they were all quite tasty. I might add that their warm cinnamon rolls were a real treat. The bed was comfortable with very nice bedding and a choice of pillows. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay in Ann Arbor.

Good hotel near Ann Arbor. Suite has 2 good size rooms but only one bathroom which is inconvenient for 4-5 people

We liked the dining options within walking distance. Our room had modern accommodations and was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The area was lovely and quiet.
