Leider ist man im Kaiser nicht mehr König
Leider war der heutige Besuch im Kaiser sehr enttäuschend! Zunächst bekam ich ein Zimmer dessen Eingangstür nicht abschließbar war, die Verdunkelungsvorhänge teilweise aus der Führungsschiene hingen, die Kissen auf dem Fußboden lagen. Dankenswerterweise aber mit großem Zähneknirschen konnte ich in ein Ersatzzimmer wechseln! Leider auch hier Mängel. Beide Nachttischleuchten ohne Funktion, ein Zimmerlicht ohne Funktion, der beleuchtete Spiegel von 13 möglichen 4 funktionsfähige Lampen. Die Dusche von innen nicht ordentlich geputzt. Bei den Handtüchern die Nähte ausgerissen. Den charmanten Frühstücksservice hat man abgeschafft, den Kaffee holt man sich selber an der Theke und nicht im Frühstücksraum, das Restaurant ist bis auf Weiteres geschlossen. Auch hier wäre eine Info bei Buchung schön gewesen.

Very nice , renovated hotel in the center of the old town. Rooms are excellent and the breakfast was great. Excellent value for money. Excellent restaurant right next door , where we had a very nice dinner..menu items reflected the local cuisine. Also , a very nice selection of local wines. only negative was the street noise from the adjacent street.

What a gem! Absolutely gorgeous, modern and luxurious interiors inside this great old historic building in the picturesque village of Schriesheim. We had a view of the old castle ruins on the hill above from our bedroom, so, so pretty. And we slept like babies. Everything was very comfortable, very nice staff, and the food was AMAZING!

Das Restaurant ist geschmackvoll und wertig eingerichtet. Das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Neben der kleine Speisekarte gab es noch einen Aufsteller mit Tagesangeboten und auch noch mündlich vorgetragene Tagesangebote. Die Auswahl an offenen Weinen war umfassend. Gläser, Karaffen und das Geschirr ebenfalls sehr hochwertig. Allerdings auch das Preisniveau, 24 € für ein Kotelett mit ein paar Pommes und Salat ist schon sportlich. Nahezu 100 € ohne Aperitif und Digestif will man auch nicht jeden Tag zahlen. Lecker war es schon. 😃

Wir waren vor ein paar Wochen im Kaiser und waren sehr beeindruckt. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Freundlichkeit des Kaiser Teams. Auch von der Küche und dem sehr sauberen Zimmer waren wir begeistert. Dass hier jedes Zimmer ganz individuell gestaltet wurde durften wir bei einer Hausführung durch Beate vom Team der Rezeption erfahren, wir kommen gerne wieder! M.-A. Cornelius
