The Black Forrest was a wonderful surprise for us. This hotel was located a few miles from a fun town and they had everything we needed.

I loved this hotel. If you’re travelling through the area I would definitely recommend staying. It has some great facilities- sauna (afternoons only ) indoor pool, sun deck, massage rooms. Bedrooms were very pleasant- my only criticisms were 1. Curtains need to be blackout- our room was very light (I used an eye mask), 2. no tea/coffee making facilities and 3. v basic bathroom toiletries provided. Minor criticisms. I take my own pillow with so can’t comment on the quality of their pillows :) staff were lovely, restaurant was lovely ( very decent buffet breakfast included), parking is easy and free. I wished l’d had longer to enjoy the facilities and thought it was excellent value for money. The massage therapist I had (a former nurse) was excellent

Empfehlenswert. Schönes Ambiente. Tolle Terasse ,Schwimmbecken zu abkühlen und eine wunderbare Liegen Terasse im Grünen. Zimmer sauber, Haben storen zum Verdunkeln. Manco: die vielen blauen LED s im Zimmer erhellen dies Nachts sehr. Musste ich abkleben,oder man jat eine Schlafmaske dabei. Essen eher hochpreisig. ex Fisch ,1x Lamm ,1x Steak ,1x Rehgulasch, sehr schönes Dessert.

Zu empfehlen, auch für Geschäftsreisen. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden und viel mehr. Wer mag, als Basis zur Entdeckung des Hochschwarzwaldes genau richtig.

The location was perfect - lovely hotel in the country. The aesthetics of the hotel suited the locale. The food was superb and the dining ambience (both inside and outside) made for an even better gastronomic experience. The family are professionals in service.
The room was ok. There were 3 things I was not so comfortable with:
- there were only 2 shade curtains which were not wide enough to span the windows so facing the east, sunlight crept in too early.
- There was a tv but way too large for the room. It made for awkward maneuvering.
- I think the toilet could have been cleaned better prior to our arrival.
Would I go back to that hotel? A thousand times, yes!

Personnel très à l'écoute. Excellent petit déjeuner varié et frais, cuisine excellente, Spa et piscine très propres et suffisants, emplacement magnifique, parking devant l'hôtel. Demandez une chambre avec volets si vous aimez ne pas vous réveiller avec le jour levant. Piscine suffisante pour 4-5 personnes à la fois. Une piscine extérieure serait un plus.
