Hotel Kurhaus Ochs

Wir waren zum Frühstücken hier. Sehr freundlicher Service, schönes Ambiente. Das Büffet war vielfältig. Fisch und Heringssalat neben Wurst//Käse, Eier etc. unterschiedliche Müslizutaten und besonders hervorzuheben GESCHROTETE Leinsaat. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Waren zum Brunch hier und waren zufrieden. Man sitzt schön und hat eine gute Auswahl am Buffet. Besonders gut war die Lammkeule. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und aufmerksam! Im Wintergarten ganz hinten war es dann nur irgendwann sehr warm, hier wäre eine Verschattungsmöglichkeit sehr angenehm gewesen.

This hotel was chosen as the location for a motorcycle weekend with biker friends. It turned out to be a good choice. When the group arrived, the owner greeted us personally in the car park and gave everyone a beer as a welcome on the house - respect - that's how you greet Harley Davidson riders!!! Some of the rooms are a bit small and showing their age, but clean!! The evening hot and cold buffet on both evenings left nothing to be desired. It was varied, tasty with plenty of choice (4 hot main courses to choose from!), there was something for every palate. Freshly refilled food was always available when one meal was running low. The Sunday cake selection in the café next door is particularly worth mentioning. All cakes were baked by the owner himself, top quality and plenty of choice! The breakfast buffet was seamlessly in line with the quality of the evening buffets. Fresh egg dishes, plenty of choice of everything your breakfast heart desires. We made a lot of use of the wellness area with swimming pool and sauna, and our requests to use the sauna outside of opening hours were heard and implemented. Bathrobes were available for a fee at reception, and there were plenty of sauna towels available in the sauna area. Our sociable evenings in the bar were, as always, great: thanks to the hard-working staff behind the bar: an all-round successful weekend, thanks to the team and its management.

One day before our wedding anniversary we decided to book an active holiday or a long weekend. My wife and I are celebrating the charm of this hotel. The staff, food and cleanliness are absolutely top notch for us. We have stayed in more upscale hotels before and have never felt so comfortable and relaxed. Excellent cleanliness, a really old spa house for a little trip back in time. Lovingly kept in order, very comfortable room with winter garden. Restaurant exceptionally good, advance booking advisable. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast plentiful and of high quality. Overall very good and definitely recommended.
