I had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life at Sonesta Simply Suites. I was in constant communication with the hotel staff to let them know my flight was delayed. I spoke with Andre around 11 AM (10 AM Central) and was reassured that a note would be left for the night staff. Later in the evening, I called Mohammad twice—once around 9 PM (8 PM Central) and again around 10:30 PM (9:30 PM Central)—to keep them updated and confirm my arrival around 2 AM. After my flight was delayed again, I landed in Chicago after 2 AM and immediately called the hotel to confirm my arrival and schedule the shuttle. Mohammad confirmed my name and arranged the pickup. When I arrived, I was shocked to be told that my reservation had been canceled. Despite all of my calls throughout the day and evening, no one at the hotel ever contacted me to warn me of this cancellation. I was left stranded in a new city with no hotel, no options, and no support. What made this worse was how indifferent the staff were. I wasn’t even offered a room to purchase for the night. Mohammad told me to “just wait” until 4 PM to check in again. This was at 3 AM! He basically suggested I sit in the city for 13 hours with nowhere to go. There was no apology, no solution, no care at all. This experience completely ruined the start of my trip and honestly left me with such a bad impression that I never want to return to Chicago or stay at another Sonesta property ever again. The level of unprofessionalism and lack of basic customer service was shocking. If you value peace of mind and decent treatment as a guest—look elsewhere.

周りにスーパーがないこと以外は満足でした。日本の人はパックご飯か餅を持っていくとよいです。シカゴの街中の行き来は、空港の送迎を使ってもよいけど、CTAパスがあればバスとローズメント駅を使っても簡便でした。なかはきれいでした！
