Made a reservation a week before and paid IN FULL at the time of booking. Just to get there after 9pm to check in for our long awaited weekend trip, and they overbooked. not a single courtesy call even though we not only booked in advance but paid in advance. Just to have wait up to 12 days for a refund and find last minute reservations somewhere else because they are so incredibly useless at running a hotel that they cant even manage to hold rooms for people who have already paid. Honestly I would suggest finding a comfortable bench, or cardboard box in an alleyway to sleep in before coming here, he knows the customer service might be better, plus you won't be screwed over.

Some Staff should be properly identified and they must improve the cleaning of their bed sheets in general . They should do cleaning inspections more often in order to guarantee cleaning standards................................,,.

Stay far away! Seedy place and park and fly shuttle service is absolutely abysmal. Overbooked a shuttle causing my family of four, including young children, take a different time a lot that messed up our airport arrival. Then, on the return, they said a shuttle would be at the airport upon our arrival and they never showed. So we had to call them and then they said they were sending one. I’m sitting here at 1:00am with my children waiting. Total bait and switch! Never again. And to top it off, the hotel is in shambles, everything in need of repair. Hair and blood stains on pillows, broken elevator buttons, front desk guy looks like he hasn’t showered in a week and doesn’t care anything about service. No apology for overbooking. Run as fast as you can away from this place.

TERRIBLE!! Worst hotel I have experienced in 50 years. Do not trust the 4-5 star ratings, they are completely fake. I tried getting a refund, but they’re 800 customer service number gave me the runaround for almost an hour again stay away from this place. You will regret it.

Just returned from a five stay at the Radisson Hotel while visting family . I made the reservations with short notice and did obtain a reasonable rate. My wife and I checked in without any issues and went to the room. The room was clean with necessities in place. However, the coffee machine did not work and the vanity light did not work properly. Oh well. no big deal so we just lived it. Went down for the morning breakfast and it appeared it was yesterdays breakfast still in the warmer and no coffee. Oh well, it was Thanksgiving and a big dinner was coming. After a couple of days expected a change of towels and the waste basket emptied but another oh well. . Oh yes, no soap either in the shower . WE did speak to the night desk clerk who did give us some quarter size soap and towels. He was considerate and made available from items behind his work desk. On check out day I asked for a printed copy of my statement and was told the printer was broken and a statement would be emailed to me but another oh well as he never has arrived.

DO NOT PARK HERE (AIRPORT PARKING W SHUTTLE)-Their shuttle didn't pick us up at 10pm when our flight arrived and we had to spend $55 to get an uber from O'hare airport AFTER we already paid for the shuttle service round trip. They are NOT 24/7, they ONLY pick up at the top of the HOUR. The front desk doesn't answer their phone, the Manager was there when we arrived and he walked away KNOWING there was an issue but didn't want to deal with it. I will NEVER park here again, it is CHEAP and there's a reason it's cheap.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in the USA. They sell it with breakfast and there is no coffee. There is no room service, everything is abandoned and no manager, neither one day. False advertising, its not a hotel. It's better to pay more instead staying in a place like this. Terrible experience!!!

The Radisson Schaumburg is one big scam. What started as a joke, turned into a giant nightmare. The initial check in set the tone. They couldn’t find the reservation made months ago with *******. Once we got past that hurdle, we were told the breakfast room “might be opened tomorrow,” but they could give us McDonald’s vouchers. As my traveling companion and I were there for an athletic event, McDonald’s is not a balanced breakfast. We got up to our room with a peeling toilet seat and lack of soap/toilet paper. The hallways were dirty with the garbage can by the elevators overflowing. This could be partially due to the fact our room had ONE garbage can. As we’re headed to practice, we ask about the free shuttle service that’s advertised. We’re told it’s only to the airport, and costs $25? (There was some debate if this was the right rate and if that covered both of us). We opted out of housekeeping, and as I was attempting to go to the first floor to get fresh towels, the elevator button would not light up. I then hear the obvious noise of “we’re stuck in the elevator.” The front desk headed to the door elevator try to rescue the stuck people, and I had to flag down someone with a fresh basket of towels. Once upstairs, we hear alternating screaming and bird noises in the hallway. We wake up, take showers, and I find on my pillow… a bed bug. I find some blood streaks in the streets as well as a bug moving under my mattress. I take a photo with the Seek app to confirm it is indeed a bed bug. We navigate the trash housekeeping through in the hall to take the stairs as we’re ready to check out (since the elevator issue from last night). As we check out, we ask for a refund due to the ALL of the issues, we are lied to multiple times by the staff. The manager who could issue the refund was conveniently out of the office, they questioned if the photo was really one of their photos, there was suddenly a brand new shuttle that had never been used and could take us to the airport (spoiler alert: it was a half hour away when we were ready to leave), the sad breakfast was actually available that morning, and they said ******* needed to initiate the refund. I filed a complaint with the health department who did cite them for bed bugs the morning after we left. We have still not been able to reach the manager. On the pro side, the shower water pressure was amazing.

If you have an option, do not stay at this hotel! The interior is sadly in need of a deep clean/refresh. The doors on the room did not shut properly. There was no shower curtain in the room. We tried to call the front desk, but there was no dial tone. I called from my cell, but no one ever answered the phone. At 11:30 pm a man entered our room with a key card and explained that he was “just checking to see if our room was clean and that he didn’t expect us to be there!’ It was 11:30 pm! There were kids running up and down the halls late at night. We could hear chirping and looked outside our room. They had a chicken! We were only given two towels for a two queen room. We went down to ask for additional towels and they cane back with one towel and explained they didn’t have anymore. No one ever came to service the room. There were no extra supplies and the toilet paper rolls were near empty when we got there. Needless to say we ran out and had to trek back to the front desk to ask for some. Beware!!!
