"Everything is great except for the lighting in Room 568, why is it so dim? I was straining my eyes on my laptop because lighting wasn't that great. Bed is comfortable and bathroom spacious enough. The big fridge was a bonus, the same with the pantry. Recommended stay as this hotel is very near to Imago Shopping Mall"

"The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were friendly and always smiling, providing excellent service. Although check-in was officially at 3 PM, they kindly allowed us to check in early at 12 PM as a room was already available. The breakfast was delicious, and the swimming pool was beautiful. Everything was perfect, and I will definitely choose the Marriott again on my next trip to Kota Kinabalu."

"This hotel absolutely blew my expectations out of the water! Both the location and the accommodations were superb. It's strategically located on a corner, directly across the street from the jetty, making it incredibly convenient for island-hopping excursions. We spent four days island hopping, and I must say, the two captains, especially for the mangrove and outer island tours, were absolutely hilarious, witty, and very responsible. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Gaya Street, Durian Street, and the Central Seafood Market, which was extremely convenient. Gaya Street also hosts a night market every Friday and Sunday, perfect for a leisurely stroll and sampling delicious street food. Diagonally opposite the hotel, there's a large shopping mall and a duty-free store. My only minor disappointment was that our three families were staying together. The room rates only differed by less than fifty (currency implied), but because I was with my son, I booked a twin room. It turned out to be quite small, whereas the other two families booked king rooms that even came with a living area! I was so incredibly jealous and felt it was a bit unfair! o(╥╥)o However, that didn't really impact our overall experience, and we still had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel also boasts an outdoor rooftop pool on the 25th floor. The elevators require a room key card to operate and only grant access to your assigned floor, which provided a great sense of security!"

"The whole place is good. Only the location’s smell and parking service for guest. Stinky smell comes from nearby sewerage and when the tide is low the smells comes in. On the other hand, no free parking available. Park downstairs and early in the morning being summoned as early as 8am on saturday. Other than that, all area good and nearby a foodcourts"

"Very satisfied. Very spacious and clean. The view of the city was very beautiful but a bit noisy at night because it is near the main road. I suggest those who want to stay here if you have a sleep problem please request a room that is facing the other way. Water supply no problem. The aircond is good. Functioning really well. There is also a space for smoking and my husband was very satisfied with that facility because almost all hotels that we go to didn't provide this space. The staff at the counter was very quick giving a response. Will repeat going here again someday."

"Check-in was super smooth as the counter was right next to the lift lobby to go up to the apartment. The apartment was well furnished in the kitchen, TV had Netflix and spotify. The location was good for us because my group went diving so it was a short walk to the pier where all the boats/tours are. Furthermore, it's only a short cheap cab ride away to the city center (＜10 mins ride). One thing to note is that the complex is near a highway and there was one night where it was noisy due to motorbikes. The apartment complex had a lot of restaurants and a couple of convenience stores that would suffice. While I did not use any of the complex facilities like the swimming pool or gym, the pool did not look the cleanest and there were construction nearby the pool. "How to check in: When you enter the first floor, there are mailboxes-> Find the mailbox number you received a message for in advance, enter the PIN number, and turn it to open-> Take the key key and put it on the elevator card key, press the floor number, and check in I read a review that said there were bugs and the room condition was very bad, so I prepared myself mentally and visited, but I was so, so satisfied There were two king-sized beds in two rooms, and one bathroom was in the room and one was next to the front door The ocean view was pretty because it had a large window, and the construction site was visible, but it was okay ㅎㅎ The dining table was also large, and there was a washing machine and detergent provided👍🏻 There was only one dryer, but it was very windy + There was a full-length mirror and a large refrigerator The downside is that the bathroom drain smelled like water, so it smelled musty ㅜ A shower filter is a must!! The filter got black in one day ㅠㅠ We stayed for two days, and there were only four large towels for four people, so we used them after drying and washing them ㅠ ℹ️ No bugs and cleanliness Each room is spacious, and there is a large dining table in the living room, so it is good for couples to stay together And there was a convenience store on the first floor, which was the best🫶🏻✨ After checking out, I lost my ring, so I asked if I could go and look for it while cleaning, and they kindly said it was possible, and the host said they would call me and contact me when they found it🥹 I was touched,, There is a pier for the Sapi Island tour (5 minutes on foot), and famous local restaurants such as the Filipino Market nearby, so it is a perfect location for traveling🧡🧡"

"We had an overnight stay in Kota Kinabalu with this provider before our hike to Mount Kinabalu. Unfortunately, we were wrongly accused of taking two of their towels. The management held RM300 of our deposit for towels that were clearly worn and wanted us to re-check our baggage thats already packed for the hike. Despite explaining in detail where each of us had left the towels, the owner insisted the mistake was on our part. We even went to the extent of unpacking and repacking all our hiking gear at Mount Kinabalu just to double-check — only to confirm what we already knew: we did not take anything. In the end, while we were already at the summit of Mount Kinabalu, the missing towels mysteriously appeared at the doorstep of our unit. Yet, not a single apology or acknowledgment was offered by the owner. I dont have pic of the unit, nor towel, but here we are when the towel mysteriously appeared in front of their unit. Very disappointing experience."
