We stayed in a lovely quiet room at the back of the hotel. Its recently been decorated and the whole hotel was very clean. The owner could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was very good and the evening dinner was amazing. They speciality is regional, seasonal cuisine and we had a beautiful meal at a very reasonable price. Be aware that the restaurant isn't always open. There are restaurants in easy walking distance and lots at La Ferte Bernard which is also worth visiting. We would be delighted to stay here again and were made to feel very welcome. I would be the fist to admit that our spoken French could be better but it wasn't a problem.

It is a very nice hotel to stay, the owner went out of his way to assist us after a misunderstanding about the time we had to check out. The breakfast was exceptional.

Very practical for a stop-over on a drive to Brittany. A small hotel, quick to reach from the main highway. The room itself was surprisingly cozy and personal, clean and extremely quiet in the night, as there is nothing around except for a small country road. There was even a bathtub. Breakfast was fairly ample and very adequate, made and served by the owner (?), who also served at the reception and seemed generally to run the whole show. There are few if any frills, but this hotel was perfect for our stop-over.
