I only popped in the bar quite late, on my way back to my hotel, as I noticed that it was still open. They didn't have much, drinks wise, that I fancied, but did have neck oil, so I got a pint of that. It was fairly quiet and I easily found a seat. Now, here's the issue for me. Apparently it's a 'Heineken Sports Bar' and I freely admit that I have no interest in sport and that I am probably in the minority here. However, every wall space was covered with multiple screens showing different sports, all with no sound and, as far as I could see from where I was, no one watching them and also, as far as I could tell, nowhere to set where you didn't have TV screens flickering away in your peripheral vision. I was glad to leave but, as I say, I'm sure that if you enjoy sport then you might enjoy it.

Well located in the centre of Scarborough and close to all shopping and amenities. A few minutes walk and you’re down on the seafront, funicular available for those who don’t dance the walk back up.
Parking is always a pain in Scarborough but there’s an NCP car park across the road (£12 for 24 hours as at June 2025).
Breakfast was well cooked and filling.

Stayed here with my wife for 1 night very noisey in the room pillows were like lying on sand, bed very uncomfortable rooms very dated would not recommend this place at all. But nice breakfast in the morning.Staff very pleasant tho

Very friendly and helpful staff (reception and breakfast), clean comfortable room, great location too! I really don’t understand the poor reviewers for this hotel. For 80.00 we got a clean bed and a full English breakfast, smack in the centre of Scarborough at Easter.

This place is a must not for Scarborough but England amazing staff damien the blonde bar staff and manager are amazing. And the landlady well i hope you her what a dream x of all dreams. Fantastic. Pub sorry all your rooms was booked x the prices are very good staff even better . What a clean place. I want to move in.

Had a great stay great room arrived early and was able to get our room owner is great as are all the staff
We parked at multi story car park just across the road palm court £12.50 for 24hrs
Unfortunately we has to leave a day early but
