Excellent location for North bay attractions. We were in a good size family room which also worked well as a good accessible room. Staff friendly. Hotel clean and fresh. Restaurant attached and pub restaurant with play area next door. Would really recommend.

Went to our room via the lift there was 2 and nice and big for push chair, room was a family room 1 double 2 single beds we did ask for a cot but it wasn’t there but George the hotel manager sorted this no problem! He was lovley! Our room had a bath and shower great for baby was lovley and big, had a kettle and team and coffee and cups towels and extra pillows! Breakfast was best we have had in a hotel was faultless! Eggs made to order plenty to choose from! Amazing ! X thanks for a lovely stay

An enjoyable stay at this premier inn. George and his team do a great job in looking after the guests. The beds and pillows are comfortable and we had three good nights sleep. The breakfasts were hot and there was plenty of choice. Dietary issues are dealt with without fuss. We had to swap rooms but the young lad on reception dealt with this promptly. The hotel is convenient for the Open Air Theatre and is a five minute walk down to the North Bay sea front.

This might be the hardest hotel review I have written. Not because it was so bad....quite the opposite. Crucially nothing was blow me away spectacular. Technology worked fine, the room was pretty clean (althought a random giant foam log in tartan carpet was left in there with no explantion as to what it was). The shower was reasonable, tv worked and the bed was very comfortable (this in all seriousness is worth noting). Overall its the hotel equivalent of a ford mondeo. Does everything you expect with no fuss or problems without ever feeling like you've done something special. For those who want a safe bet this is it but if you want something a bit fancier or characterful i'd go elsewhere. Also fair warning. As this is on the north bay you will have to walk 1 mile to get to the city centre and it's pretty awkward to get to without a car and a fistful of change for the parking.

We stayed for 3 nights. The 2nd night we had invited some friends to join us for dinner . The staff pulled out all the stops to make our evening a good experience and it was. Despite being short staffed our 3 night stay was very nice. OK the food is not cordon bleu but it was tasty hot and we'll presented. All in all a great stay and would certainly come again. Thankyou to the staff for their kind attention

Great location for local attractions, ample parking but as its council owned its not free. Staff very friendly and helpful throughout, room was clean as was bathroom, would give this hotel 4 stars were it not for pillows and mattress, both in need of replacement but a shame as normally Prem Inn beds are super comfy. Only other gripe was smell of sewage coming from sink on second night, also noticed this smell slightly near continental selection area at breakfast, shame as overall hotel was very clean.

Although the bed and pillows are often promoted on media, they are not suitable for everyone. Providing slimmer type pillows would be a big bonus. The bed was fine.
