We have just enjoyed a fabulous 3 night stay here and we couldn’t have chosen better. Everything was perfect. The staff were so friendly and accommodating..and the standard of food was exceptional. We enjoyed delicious 3 course dinners every night. We stayed in the Glen room which was beautifully appointed and loved all the quirky attention to detail. We would not hesitate in recommending this lovely hotel and it deserves every accolade it receives. Thank you to you all. We’ll definitely be back again soon.

Myself and my sister booked to stay here as we were going to a concert at the open air theatre. It was ideally located, just 5 mins walk from the theatre. The town is a much longer walk but it’s a lovely walk along the sea front. The hotel was easy to find and although the car park was full, we found a parking space on one of the nearby roads. Parking was unrestricted and free but there were not many spaces because of the concert. We were greeted by 2 friendly gentlemen on reception. Our room was spotlessly clean. It was bright and modern. The beds were really comfortable. There was a large wardrobe with shelves so plenty of space for clothes. I was not disappointed with the tea provided, Yorkshire of course and the biscuits were a nice touch. The bathroom was bigger than expected with a rainforest and a standard shower head. The deep windowsills provided plenty of space for toiletries. The bar was open until 11.30pm and we had a couple of reasonably priced drinks after the concert. Again, the staff were friendly and chatty. Overall a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Found the hotel easily enough (using the sat nav) ,the car park is small, limited space, but there are loads of on-street parking available surrounding the hotel. The receptionist explained all about the hotel and about the facilities and then how to find the Open Air Theatre which is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. I used the pool and jacuzzi to wind down after 4 hour drive, very enjoyable, I also ordered a meal and dessert at the restaurant rather than get a takeaway, all very nice. Breakfast was the same next day, they offered a varied choice and was able to mix things up from the menu, and the staff only happy to oblige to cook what I asked for. Again very nice. Would I stay here again, most definitely. Great job

every thing was spot on.the staff were very friendly.the food was excellent.room 24 had a great view of the castle.short walk to peasholme park.also withing walking distance to the town 10min away.

Stayed for one night for a gig and it’s a great location for Scarborough Open Air Theatre. Rooms were clean and tea making facilities, plus biscuits, were great. Reasonable bar prices. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. Didn’t have a meal, but menus looked varied and food other people we’re eating looked nice. A walk to local park, attractions and beach was easy.

Lovely bedrooms , very clean , staff very helpful nothing too much trouble , very nice lounge and bar , swimming pool and jacuzzi an added bonus . The meals were excellent, certainly value for money in all a lovely stay

Stayed in the Donaldson suite, everything was amazing. It was lovely to look out patio doors just at bottom of bed and kept us cool during hot weather. No noise with it open. The staff were so friendly and quick to serve. Breakfast was lovely and served to order, It was so relaxing and very clean. Will definitely be going back thanks for a great time.
