The Crescent Hotel

Amazing!! Rooms are beautiful and spotless, staff so friendly and accommodating. Location is perfect for the town and Cliff lift down to the sea We were there as a large group (42) so a little rowdy and quite demanding but nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is gorgeous and plentiful, the bar downstairs serves great food and the entertainment was an excellent bonus. Will definitely return next year if they'll have us. The best hotel in Scarborough x

We booked this hotel last minute for a three night stay in Scarborough over the Bank Holiday Weekend. Can give nothing but positive feedback about our stay, it really was a fantastic break and the hotel was in a great location in the centre of town but still in a quiet area. We were two couples and opted for the corner rooms which I think are classed as Superior Rooms. Was quite something to have an almost panoramic view of both the lovely gardens towards the side and the view towards the front with the sea in the distance. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Plenty of storage and facilities. I especially liked the king size bed which provided a quality night's sleep. The mattress was very much to my liking. We loved the character of this hotel, all the public areas were so inviting and it really feels like it's a home from home. What sets this place apart is the service from its wonderful staff. All of them really worked hard to ensure you were happy and were made to feel like honoured guests. Ashley was a real pleasure to deal with when we booked this and was equally friendly and accommodating whilst we were staying. Richard was also very friendly and attentive both at reception and at breakfast time. In fact anybody we encountered from the Night Porter to Cleaning Staff were all fantastic. I would be very happy to reccomend the Crescent Hotel and all four of us have said that we would definitely like to return again in the future.

Spent a fabulous weekend at The Crescent recently. All the Staff from arrival to departure are fabulous. Every single member of the team here is welcoming, friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the personal touch which is so rare these days. The hotel is spotlessly clean and our room on the third floor was spacious with a comfortable super king sized bed. There is plenty of choice at breakfast which we both enjoyed. I’m happy to report not one single negative here ! The Crescent bar is one of the best in the town and we enjoyed the Northern Soul and live music here. We will definitely return.

Only stayed the one night which was a shame as this is a fabulous period hotel, superb room, all in keeping, comfortable bed spotlessly clean, lovely hospitality tray. This had to be one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had in a hotel, massively impressed, cannot recommend enough.

We have stayed several times, always in an executive room which is enormous and has lovely views across the park. The welcome is superb, breakfast choices are excellent and we enjoyed a delicious evening meal. You can't fault the hotel for its location and its friendly staff.

once again another excellent break,brilliant food, fabulous staff can't do enough for you. warm homely and spotless. In the centre of Scarborough, close to all amenities Entertainment most nights in the down stairs crescenr bar will see you again.
