The Headlands Hotel is located in the heart of Scarborough's beautiful North Bay looking across towards Scarborough Castle and has a wide range of spotlessly clean rooms available, all of which are en-suite and have breakfast included in the rate. Breakfast is served in our bright and spacious dining room using fresh local produce and we also have a fully licensed bar that is open every evening serving drinks and food.
We are a family friendly hotel and have two recently refurbished Family Rooms available that sleep up to 5 people (max 2 adults) in addition to our range of Standard and Superior Twin and Double Room options. Superior and Family Rooms are located at the front of the building and have views across to the castle headland and sea. All our rooms are going through a refurbishment program that will see all 13 rooms updated and refreshed by April 2022. Parking is not an issue, we have a small car park onsite and all the on street parking around the hotel is free of charge.
It's just a five minute walk from the hotel to the North Bay Beach, Peasholm Park, Scarborough Open Air Theater and Alpamare Water Park and there are bars and restaurants close by. The town center and South Bay beach are both within easy reach of the hotel.

Amazing as always - Fab room with amazing sea views - Great company and food ( the sharing platter was gorgeous ) - Lovely bar and great service ( didn’t have to move from my seat ) - Close to all amenities - We will be back in August after we have practised on the Wii !!! 😀😀

Our third faultless New Year,every thing you could wish for.Spotless,good food and atmosphere,the rooms are immaculate as is the rest of the hotel thanks to the owners Steve and Karen,nothing is too much for them,definitely going back again this year x

Steve and Karen are the perfect hosts. Their hotel is perfectly situated, it’s very welcoming, the rooms are exceptionally clean, modern and comfortable. Steve cooks the best breakfast on the East Coast. There’s a lounge with a bar again exceptional. 4 of us stayed for 3 nights for New Year, we had entertainment, bubbly, food and amazing company. All of us would not stay anywhere else in Scarborough. We all stay a minimum of 2 times per year. 100% perfection.

My wife & I enjoyed an excellent New Year stay at the Headlands! Excellent hosts Steve & Karen, lovely clean and comfortable rooms and excellent breakfasts made for another enjoyable stay. As it was a New Year break, we enjoyed entertainment on two of the nights, tho the comfy bar is a lovely place to socialise, at any time! We will defgo be back! Tx

A wonderful hotel , with very welcoming Hosts , Karen and Steve , who every time we stay make us feel so welcome, The Hotel is spotlessly clean and very modern , Breakfast is very tasty and plenty to choose from , loved going in the bar on an Evening to chill out , look forward to returning again !

We had a wonderful stay at the Headlands Hotel. The rooms are clean comfortable and cosy. The food was fantastic we enjoyed the burgers on our first night, full English breakfast the first morning and Belgian waffles the second. The food was delicious and clearly freshly made! My daughter has coeliac disease, Steve and Karen were fantastic and very accommodating to her dietary needs. The bar is a lovely place to spend the evening after a day of sight seeing. Couldn’t fault our stay at all, this was our first visit and certainly will not be our last! We will definitely recommend to friends and family. Thank you to all the staff for looking after us.

Fantastic hotel in an excellent location in North Bay. Warm and friendly welcome from Steve and Karen, who joined us for a drink in the cosy bar the 2 nights we stayed. Enjoyed a great breakfast each morning, large selection of options, but couldn’t resist the full Yorkshire breakfast each day. Would highly recommend the hotel if you stay in Scarborough.

We had a wonderful stay at the Headlands Hotel. We had a superior twin room with impeccable décor, spotlessly clean and very comfortable and the location is peaceful for a good nights sleep. The breakfast each morning was delicious and freshly cooked to order. Lovely quirky 60s themed bar for drinks in the evening. Steve and Karen are excellent hosts, couldn’t have made us feel more welcome, giving us great recommendations for places to eat and where to visit. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend and we are planning to stay again next year.
