Palm Court Hotel

A homely and welcoming hotel with helpful friendly staff. Good food, comfortable room and good location. All day food and drink available in pleasant and comfortable rooms. Would recommend.

Just been for 3 night stay and although weather not A1 hotel good as usual It was however very hot in bedroom so used fan which was provided which helped greatly. Food very good as usual and had Sunday Lunch which was excellent - would highly recommend. Very central for town and has customer car park under cover. Would recommend booking direct with hotel as you get better deals.

Review late due to waiting for response to our complaints which has not occurred. Upon leaving the lift we were surprised to find our room (36) at the end of a long corridor. This surprised me as I had requested a room close to the lift due to partners breathing problems. Entering the room there was a double bed which filled the room leaving nowhere to relax, handy work half finished, bathroom needs urgent refurb. Stained pillow and lumpy mattress. Ordered the Cheeseboard which had rock hard crackers and cheddar the average house mouse would turn its nose up at!. CS non existent . £510 for 3 nights?. Better value establishments elsewhere. Lacked any wow factor and will not be visiting again.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights b & b at the end of June. Cannot understand whatsoever some of the extreme criticisms of this hotel. We have stayed at many hotels both at home and abroad, so we do have a lot to compare with. It is a very comfortable hotel with excellent choice at breakfast for anyone. Although the rooms are perhaps smaller by some comparisons, they have all the modern facilities you would need. It is very centrally located so an ideal position. The people employed at this hotel are friendly and welcoming. Free parking close by as a courtesy of the hotel which is a bonus. The only complaint we have if you can call it that is that the room had no air-conditioning (which on cooler days may not be an issue but it was quite warm during our stay) n.b. You cannot leave the windows open during the night due to the famous seagulls and noise etc. and although we were provided with a fan this was not really effective enough. However, this is something that I definitely would address with the hotel if we ever decided to stay in Scarborough again in the future, as most aspects of our stay were good and we would recommend.

Having been here several times and always been pleased with everything about the hotel clean room,great breakfast and fantastic carvery on Sunday We arrived today and was put in room 45 BIG DISAPPOINTMENT the room is like a broom cupboard at £160 per night Went back to reception and staff was really helpful but could only offer us a room of similar size on another floor Sad to say we will have to look for another hotel in Scarborough on our next visit

Visited palm court hotel recently for 3 nights,had the super king room which was emaculate, the hotel is centrally located ,and within easy reach of the town centre and the beach , the staff were helpful,friendly & wonderful. Breakfast superb and plenty of choice, can’t comment on evening meal as we ate out every night. We will definitely be going back and would recommend
